Chapter 1354 Close

At that moment, Isabella turned and glared at Leon, saying, "Don't worry, I won't lose it. Someone's definitely hoping I will, so they have an excuse to ditch me!"

Leon was furious and snapped at Isabella, "Are you even a mom? You're just gonna leave your kid with someone else and walk away?"

Isabella sneered at Leon, "Are you someone else? Don't forget you're the kid's dad. Shouldn't you be taking care of him?"

"I've got work and the company to manage. We have our roles," Leon argued.

"Why should it be divided like that? I can work too. Now you take care of the kid for a few days." With that, Isabella turned and left.

"Isabella." Susan chased after her, but Isabella was already gone, with two small children trailing behind. Susan had to stop.

Susan turned to see Leon holding the crying child, frowning, and complained, "Leon, what are you doing? You're making things worse!"

"You saw it too. Wasn't she being unreasonable?" Leon complained.

For a moment, Susan held her head, feeling overwhelmed.

In the end, Leon and the nanny took the two kids home, and Susan's house finally quieted down a bit.

That evening, Susan leaned against the headboard, repeatedly calling Isabella, but Isabella wouldn't answer.

"What's wrong?" Seb, wearing a bathrobe, walked over from the bathroom, noticing Susan's furrowed brow.

"Isabella won't answer the phone. I don't know where she is. I'm so worried," Susan replied, frowning.

Hearing this, Seb got into bed, smiling, "Don't worry. Isabella won't do anything rash. I bet she's sleeping at a hotel right now."

Susan glanced at Seb, complaining, "Of course you don't care. She's not your friend. I really messed up this time. Leon and Isabella were arguing about divorce today. What should we do?"

Seb put his arm around Susan's shoulders, smiling, "Don't worry. They won't get divorced."

"Why not?" Susan asked, frowning.

Seb kissed her lips and said, "Do you think we would get divorced?"

"Of course not," Susan replied.

"Exactly. If we won't, they won't either. Leon is just angry. I know him; he can't live without Isabella, just like I can't live without you." Seb's eyes gleamed mischievously, and his hands started to wander.

Feeling the change, Susan squirmed, "Hey, what are you doing?"

"What do you think?" Seb turned off the light and started to touch her.

"Stop it. I'm being serious," Susan struggled.

"Go ahead, I'm listening," Seb's voice was serious, but his actions were not.

"So annoyed!" Susan hit his shoulder, but it was useless.

"What should I do?" Susan continued talking while...

"You don't need to do anything," Seb said, breathless.

"Why?" Susan asked, looking at him in the dark, hearing his breathing.

"Didn't you say Leon is at home with the kids?" Seb asked.

"Yes, so?" Susan asked, puzzled.

"Isabella can't stay away from the kids. She'll be back in three days to see them," Seb replied.

Hearing this, Susan smiled, "You're right. How did I not think of that? Those kids have never been away from Isabella. She'll miss them terribly if she doesn't see them for a day."

"Exactly. Once a woman has kids, they become her weakness. As long as the man keeps the kids, the woman will come back. Leon has both of Isabella's weaknesses right now," Seb said, laughing while thrusting.

Hearing this, Susan pouted, "So you use this trick on me too? You men are all the same, no good!"

Seb kissed her forehead and whispered in her ear, "I'm even better than Leon. I have three of your weaknesses!"

"You're awful!" Susan hit Seb's chest.

Seb grabbed her small fist, laughing, "You have no choice. You're stuck with me for life!"

Hearing this, Susan smiled and wrapped her other arm around his neck, pressing her face against his warm cheek.

She wanted to be tied to him forever, in this life and the next.

Feeling her tenderness, Seb smiled and held her tightly.

Much later, their breathing calmed, and the room became quiet.

Susan lay in Seb's arms, closing her eyes in exhaustion, about to fall asleep when she heard his voice.

"Why aren't you talking?" His eyes were half-closed, lazily.

Susan didn't bother to open her eyes, just said, "I'm so tired."

"Finally, she's left. I couldn't get close to you these past days," Seb complained.

Hearing this, Susan didn't respond, her mind already drifting, but still conscious.

For the past two weeks, Isabella and her kids had been staying here. Every night, they played late, and the kids didn't want to sleep early. After finally getting the kids to sleep, Susan and Isabella would have girl talk, so Seb was left alone until midnight.

When Susan finally returned to the room, she was too tired to deal with Seb's advances, and he could only sigh as he watched her sleep.

That night, with Isabella and the kids finally left, Seb's wish came true.

"By the way, I forgot to use protection. I hope you don't get pregnant again," Seb suddenly said.

Hearing this, Susan sat up, "What? You didn't use protection? How could you?"

Seb laughed, pulling her back into his arms.
