After Andrew left, the surroundings suddenly became quiet.
Seeing Susan in a disheveled state, George stepped forward and said, "Shall I walk you upstairs?"

Then, Susan said, "Are you wondering how I got involved with Andrew? Or do you also think I'm the kind of woman who would get involved with my ex-husband's brother-in-law?"
Hearing Susan's self-mockery, George said firmly, "You know I wouldn't think that. I believe you must have your reasons."
Susan naturally understood how George had always viewed her and felt a bit regretful for her impulsive and annoyed words earlier.
Then, Susan said, "Before I met Seb, I had dated Andrew for three years."

George fell silent. Indeed, Susan and Seb were already divorced, so there was no need to bring it up. Saying it would only add to the troubles.
Then, Susan continued, "Andrew came today to persuade me to take Seb abroad for a while so he can make a play for control of Prosperity Group.""That ambitious, huh?" George mused. "Not surprising, I guess. Rylee inherited a large chunk of Carol's shares. Word is, together they have a slightly larger stake than Seb. Of course he wouldn't be content with playing second fiddle forever."
"Probably because I didn't agree, he got angry. The fact that he came to me shows that he currently has no way to deal with Seb, so for now, I'm not worried that he will harm Seb," Susan said.
"Even if he has a few more shares, so what? It was Seb who made Prosperity Group flourish. Andrew hasn’t been here that long; he's not worth worrying about. You can rest assured," George said.
At this moment, Susan suddenly thought of something and looked up at George.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" George felt a bit guilty under her gaze.
Then, Susan directly asked, "Why were you downstairs at my place?"
If it were in another public place, George could say he happened to pass by, but just now it was downstairs at her place, within the community. That couldn't be a coincidence.

After the door closed, Susan looked up in the direction of the door.
