Chapter 483 Showcasing a Happy Life
Susan finally sat up straight, glanced outside, and was totally floored!
Right in front of them was Maple Valley's swankiest bridal photography joint—Solomon Bridal Photography Studio. This place was the real deal, only catering to the high rollers. The wedding pics they snapped here were out of this world, a total dream for any couple tying the knot. But the price tag was no joke; even the most basic package set you back over $20,000, making a lot of folks think twice.
"Solomon Bridal Photography Studio? Why the heck did you bring me here?" Susan asked, giving Seb a puzzled look.
Seb's lips curled into a smirk. "Well, they only do wedding photos here, nothing else."
Susan rolled her eyes at him but couldn't help but smile.
A few days ago, they had talked about squeezing in some time for wedding photos, but it kept getting pushed back. She never thought he'd surprise her like this today.
"So, the big activity you mentioned was taking wedding photos?" Susan asked, eyeing him.
Seb nodded. "Yeah, I heard it takes a whole day to get a set done. You gotta eat up to keep your energy up; it's a grind."
Susan leaned forward to swat him. "Seb, you're such a tease, you rascal!"
Seeing her coming at him, Seb quickly bailed out of the car.
Susan followed, opening her door and chasing after him.
Seb grinned and dashed up the steps, with Susan hot on his heels in her high heels.
But those heels were a killer. She twisted her ankle and started to fall.
Seb's face tightened, and he moved fast, catching her around the waist before she hit the ground.
Susan screamed and clung to Seb. When she realized she hadn't face-planted, she relaxed a bit.
Looking down at the freaked-out Susan in his arms, Seb teased, "You're so hyped about these wedding photos you're tripping over yourself?"
Susan pouted.
Seb used to be all serious, but now he was always cracking jokes, especially with her. Every time he made her blush, he felt like a champ. But his new, lighter attitude made Susan super happy.
Once Susan steadied herself, she grabbed his tie and threatened, "You better cut it out, or else..."
"Or else what?" Seb asked, his eyes sparkling.
"Or else I'll ignore you forever!" Susan said, turning her back on him.
Seb leaned in and said, "That threat works on me. Alright, I won't tease you anymore."
Susan spun around. "Are you serious?"
"Of course not," Seb replied with a cheeky grin.
"Get lost! You're teasing me again." Susan was fuming and started hitting him.
Seb didn't waste a second; he pulled her into his arms and planted a passionate kiss right on her lips.
Susan's eyes went wide, darting around. They were in a busy spot with people walking by, and she felt super embarrassed.
She tried to wriggle free, but his grip was like iron, making her even more flustered.
Just when she thought she might pass out from lack of air, Seb finally let her go.
Gasping for breath, she heard Seb's husky voice in her ear. "What am I gonna do? I don't wanna let you go."
Seeing the deep affection in his eyes, Susan quickly glanced around and, knowing he was getting all lovey-dovey again, pleaded, "Mr. Anderson, this is a public place. Let's not put on a show here, okay?"
"Then where should we put on the show?" Seb asked, grinning.
Susan frowned, then smiled. "Save it for home tonight."
With that, she grabbed Seb's hand and headed towards the studio.
"You said it, you gotta take the lead tonight," Seb demanded.
"No problem," Susan promised confidently.
"You can't back out," Seb quickly added.
"I won't," Susan said with a laugh, shaking her head, and then pulled him into the studio.
The stylishly dressed receptionist at the door saw them and greeted them politely, "Sir, Ma'am, do you have an appointment?"
"Mr. Anderson," Seb said.
Hearing the name, the receptionist's enthusiasm shot up. "Oh, Mr. Anderson, Ms. Wilson, our wardrobe, photography, and assistant teams have been waiting for you. Please head to the VIP lounge on the second floor."
The receptionist made a welcoming gesture.
Seb corrected her, "She's already my wife. Please call her Mrs. Anderson."
Susan didn't expect him to say that, and she felt super pleased, holding Seb's arm even tighter.
The receptionist quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, Mr. Anderson, my mistake. Hello, Mrs. Anderson!"
"Hello," Susan replied, blushing.
The receptionist then led them to the second floor.
Susan and Seb, like any lovey-dovey newlyweds, went up to the second floor, all affectionate.
This was the simplest form of happiness, and Susan had already found it.
As long as they could live happily together and their two kids could be safe and happy, she had no other wishes.
Susan knew that happiness was a rare gem, so she held onto Seb's arm tightly, hoping that in the days to come, she could always walk forward holding his arm.
The VIP lounge on the second floor was spacious and way more luxuriously decorated than the first floor. Seb, being a guy, quickly changed into his suit and plopped down on the sofa, flipping through a magazine and sipping coffee while waiting.
Susan, being a woman, needed more time to do her hair and change into her wedding dress. So, after Seb had been chilling on the sofa for half an hour, the door to the ladies' changing room finally opened.
