Chapter 428 Competing with Me for a Woman

Hearing this, Susan rubbed her head and sighed, "I just can't get through to him. You deal with it."

Seb chuckled, "He'll get it when he's older."

"It's all your fault, setting a bad example for our kid." Susan shot Seb a look.

Seb grinned and grabbed Susan's hand, "Hey, if I don't show him now, how's he gonna charm his future wife?"

"Yeah, right." Susan playfully slapped his hand, but she was smiling.

"Hayden, eat up so you can grow tall! Spring, you too, eat up and grow big!" Seb tossed a piece of steak onto both Hayden's and Spring's plates.

Watching Spring and Hayden munch away happily, Seb popped a piece of steak into Susan's mouth.

"You eat more too. You'll look even hotter with some curves." Seb smirked.

"I don't wanna get fat." Susan rolled her eyes, but seeing her happy family, she felt all warm and fuzzy inside.

Later that night, in the big bed in the master bedroom of their villa, Susan leaned against the headboard, with Hayden and Spring snuggled up to her, listening to her bedtime stories.

As she told the story, Spring dozed off, but Hayden was still wide awake, eyes big and round.

"Spring's out cold." Susan finished a story and kissed Spring's little cheek.

Fresh out of the shower and in his loungewear, Seb came over, "I'll take Spring downstairs to Mary."

Susan nodded.

Seb gently picked up Spring and headed downstairs.

"Mommy, one more story!" Hayden tugged at Susan's pajamas.

"Alright, one more story." Susan continued with the bedtime tales.

She kept going for a while, and Seb had been sitting by the bed, waiting. Susan was getting sleepy, but Hayden was still wide awake, begging for more stories.

Finally, Susan had enough. She put down the fairy tale book and frowned at Hayden. "Hayden, when are you planning to sleep?"

"Mommy, I wanna sleep here with you tonight." Hayden crawled into Susan's arms.

Before Susan could respond, Seb cut in. "Hayden, you're a big boy now. You need to sleep on your own!"

Hayden pulled the blanket up, leaving just his little face showing, "Daddy's a big boy too. Why can you sleep with Mommy?"

Susan covered her mouth, laughing, and glanced at Seb, who was at a loss for words.

"Because your mommy is my wife. When you have a wife, you can sleep with her too!" Seb said, stretching his neck.

"No way. Mommy's mine. I wanna sleep with Mommy!" Hayden clung to Susan's neck, not giving up.

Seb insisted, "Nope, go to sleep now. You gotta get up early for preschool tomorrow!"

"I don't care. I wanna sleep with Mommy!" Seeing Seb's stern face, Hayden started to cry.

Seb moved to pick up Hayden, but Susan quickly hugged him and said, "Hayden, be good. I'll tell you one more story, and then you go downstairs to sleep, okay?"

"Okay." Hayden nodded eagerly.

Hayden was all smiles, but when Susan glanced at Seb, he was clearly not thrilled.

Susan quickly patted Seb's back to soothe him, "Just one story, it'll be quick."

Seb reluctantly nodded. "Just one story."

"Just one." Susan agreed and grabbed the fairy tale book to start reading to Hayden.

Seeing Hayden's pout, Susan secretly picked the longest story she could find.

Maybe it was really late, or maybe Hayden was just worn out, as she read, Hayden finally closed his eyes and drifted off.

Once Hayden was out cold, Susan gently put down the book and lovingly stroked his little face.

Seb came over, wrapped his arms around Susan's waist, kissed her neck, and looked happily at the sleeping Hayden.

Susan nestled into his arms, her eyes filled with happiness as she gazed at her adorable sleeping son.

Then, Seb's deep voice whispered in her ear, "This little rascal is learning to compete with me for you."

"You're the one to blame, teaching our son about wives at such a young age. He might start dating early!" Susan scolded playfully.

Seb didn't mind at all and proudly said, "That means our son is charming. Once he has his own woman, he won't compete with me for you anymore!"

Susan pouted, "When he has someone he loves, he won't cling to me every day or put me first."

Seeing the regret on Susan's face, Seb quickly comforted her, "You still have me, don't you? I'll grow old with you."

Hearing this, Susan felt comforted but still teased, "By then, my face will be full of wrinkles. You won't find me attractive anymore and will go for someone young and pretty."

Seb smiled, pinched her chin, and said, "Maybe by then, my taste will change. I might prefer someone with a face full of wrinkles."

"Get away!" Susan playfully hit him.

With her long hair draped over her shoulders and her nightgown revealing her figure, Susan's playful scolding sparked a chemistry between them.

When his hand covered hers, Susan felt a rush of heat.

Looking up, she met his passionate gaze and understood what it meant. They had been at odds for so long, sleeping in separate beds for so long. Tonight, it was clear they were going to make love.

To be honest, she found herself longing for it. Her body was already reacting uncontrollably.

As Seb held her and was about to make a move, Susan quickly pushed him away and pointed to Hayden lying beside them. "Hayden is still here."

Hearing this, Seb grinned. "I'll take him downstairs right away."

Seb then picked up Hayden and hurried downstairs.

Watching his eager back, Susan propped her head on one hand and smiled.

In less than a minute, a figure flashed back into the room, quickly closed the door, and locked it.

Standing at the door, Seb looked at Susan on the bed with a passionate and mischievous gaze.

Susan smiled and then turned off the lights.
