Chapter 358 A Bug Crawling
"It still hurts a bit," Seb said, frowning.
Susan got all worried. "Do you need to see a doctor?"
Seb grinned, grabbed her hand, and put it on his stomach. "Just give it a rub, and I'll be good."
Susan saw the playful look on his face and realized she got played. She shook off his hand, annoyed. "Are you messing with me again?"
Seb got serious. "I'm not kidding. With you here, I feel way better."
Susan looked into his sincere eyes, and her heart melted a little.
Seb took his chance, hugged her waist, and said, "Susan, haven't you had enough fun? Stop torturing me."
"Who's torturing who? You had fun with Linda for three days and then come back to bug me," Susan snapped.
Seb suddenly laughed.
"What’s so funny?" Susan asked.
Seb stopped laughing, looked at her intensely, and said, "You're jealous."
"I'm not!" Susan tried to deny it, but even she knew it sounded weak.
"Your jealousy means you still care about me," Seb said, staring at her.
"I don't. That's crap!" Susan pushed him away.
But Seb pulled her back. "Look at me!"
Susan met Seb's deep gaze.
"Can you honestly say you don't care? You're not jealous?" Seb's grip tightened, and his eyes were intense.
Susan felt a wave of panic. She couldn't lie; Seb saw right through her.
She pushed his hand away and shouted, "So what if I'm jealous? It's none of your business!"
Even though she stood with her hands on her hips, she felt no confidence; it was all an act.
Seb smiled. This was the admission he wanted.
He stepped forward and said softly, "Susan, let's stop wasting time. If we keep this up, the kids will be grown!"
"Who wants to waste time with you?" Susan muttered.
Then, out of nowhere, Seb yanked her towel off and tossed it.
Susan screamed, not knowing where to put her hands. She was totally embarrassed and flustered.
Seb leaned in and pressed her onto the soft bed.
"Seb, don't do anything crazy!" Susan hadn't expected this.
Seb, grinning, leaned close and said, "Crazy? Nah, I'll take it slow."
"Seb, you haven't explained things to me yet!" Susan's hands pressed against his chest.
"Explain what?" Seb's eyes were burning with intensity.
"Why'd it take you till the middle of the night to bring Linda home? What were you doing at her place for hours?" Susan asked, her jealousy flaring up.
Seb's eyes twinkled with a hint of amusement.
"Linda was drunk and causing a scene in the car. It took a lot to get her home, and she wouldn't let me leave. I had to calm her down," Seb said, trying to sound sincere.
Susan wasn't buying it. "How'd you calm her down? Did you do anything sketchy?"
"Come on, I was drunk too and had a stomachache. How could I have the energy to do anything with her?" Seb explained, frowning.
But Susan wasn't convinced. "You were both drunk, which makes it easier to lose control. Wait, does that mean if you weren't drunk, you would've done something with her?"
She grabbed Seb's bathrobe collar, agitated.
"Not at all! You're overthinking it!" Seb protested.
Susan still didn't believe him. "You've been getting along so well with her lately. And you spent three days at Azure Haven with her. I don't believe nothing happened between you two!"
Facing her questions, Seb sighed. Seeing no way out, he took off his bathrobe and said, "You won't believe anything I say, so why don't you check my body yourself?"
Then, Seb pressed down on Susan and started kissing and nibbling her.
Susan struggled but couldn't move him. She could only shout, "How is this checking your body?"
"I'm a normal guy, and a strong one at that. I want you to know how many days I've been holding back." With that, Seb began his direct advance.
Susan was left speechless.
After a long time, Susan was utterly exhausted and collapsed on the bed.
She lay there, feeling like every part of her body wasn't her own.
Under the bright lights, she glanced at the messy sheets and the exhausted, sleeping Seb beside her, feeling a wave of frustration.
Damn Seb, he didn't even turn off the lights. She was so embarrassed!
Susan grabbed her hair in frustration. She felt like she wasn't herself just now.
How could she have been so passionate, so uninhibited?
Why couldn't she resist Seb's advances? And why did she get so deeply involved?
Although she was extremely resentful, complaining, and frustrated in her heart, Susan couldn't resist the drowsiness that overcame her.
Closing her eyes, she fell into a deep sleep.
In her dreams, she felt a bug crawling on her body. She tried several times to catch it but couldn't, so she continued to sleep with her eyes closed.
In her dream, she saw Seb walking towards her with deep affection, his smile gentle, and she smiled back.
