Chapter 705 I Offer Myself
Upon hearing this, Seb remained silent for a long time.
After a while, Susan said sadly, "After all these years, don't you know what kind of person I am? Yes, Andrew and I were once in love, but that was in the past. We haven't had any contact since we broke up six or seven years ago. It wasn't until that day when he and Rylee appeared in front of me that I realized the rich girl he left me for was actually your sister. What a coincidence!"
Seb looked at Susan's pained expression, reached out, and covered her hand with his own.
Susan felt the warmth of his hand covering hers, looked down at his large hand, and tears began to fall.
If he still didn't believe her, she wouldn't be able to explain herself.
The warm, crystalline tears fell on Seb's hand and also on his heart. He frowned, reached out, and pulled her into his arms.
Susan leaned into his broad, warm embrace and frowned slightly.
At this moment, his deep and pleasant voice came from above her head. "At first, I did think you and Andrew were scheming to get close to me and Rylee to plot against our Anderson family's wealth. But that was just a moment of jealousy and resentment. Actually, I stopped thinking that way a long time ago."
"What did you say?" Hearing this, Susan looked up at Seb.
Seb looked down at Susan in his arms and said, "I had Leon investigate. After you and Andrew broke up, you never saw or contacted each other for six years until Andrew and Rylee returned to the country. That's when I realized I had wronged you. But I was also angry. Why couldn't you have told me about such a sensitive matter in advance, instead of leaving me so passive at home and giving Andrew an opportunity?"
Hearing this, Susan was a bit surprised. So he had already found out the truth but just didn't want to admit it.
Talking about hiding her past relationship with Andrew from Seb, Susan felt very guilty. She indeed hadn't handled the matter properly.
"When I found out Andrew was married to Rylee... I panicked," she admitted, her voice barely a whisper. "I was afraid. Afraid of how you'd react, afraid of the awkwardness, the tension. My relationship with your mother wasn't good to begin with, and this... this would have made it unbearable. But those are just excuses. I should have told you. It was wrong of me to hide it."
Seeing Susan's guilty expression, Seb tightened his grip on her hand. "I was wrong too. I was too arrogant and proud. I couldn't accept the fact that you and Andrew had been in love. Sometimes I even thought that maybe the person you loved most wasn't me but him. So I was very jealous and tormented you. But while tormenting you, I found my heart was even more pained. Later, when I realized I had misunderstood you, I didn't know how to face you."
"So, does that mean you don't blame me anymore?" Susan looked at Seb with eyes full of joy.
Hearing this, Seb looked down at Susan and said, "Now it's my turn to ask for your forgiveness. I've been too harsh on you all this time!"
Hearing this suddenly, Susan felt a pang in her heart.
Indeed, he had been too harsh on her these days, and she felt like crying.
The next moment, Susan's tears began to flow uncontrollably.
Seeing her tearful face, Seb quickly pulled her tightly into his arms and murmured, "I'm sorry, I'm such a jerk!"
"You are a jerk!" Susan cried and shouted.
"Yes, I am." Seb softly comforted Susan in his arms.
He gently wiped the tears from her cheeks with his thumb, his movements so tender it was heartbreaking. His eyes held nothing but her.
After crying, Susan began to hit Seb's chest with her fists. "No matter what happens in the future, you can't use the kids to threaten me anymore!"
"Okay, I promise you." Seb nodded.
But Susan still felt unsatisfied. She picked up the pillow behind her and hit Seb several times with it!
It wasn't until she was tired from hitting him that Seb pulled her into his arms.
Lying in his arms, Susan still wouldn't let it go. "Just forgiving you like this is such a loss!"
"Then what do you want? How about I offer myself to you?" Seb's lips curled into a mischievous smile.
"Who wants your lousy body? Who knows how many people have touched it!" Susan said disdainfully.
"I've always been faithful to you," Seb said earnestly.
Susan glanced at him and said nothing.
Of course, she wouldn't be foolish enough to tell him what Esme and she had talked about. That would only make him more smug, claiming he had never betrayed her.
"Hmph, a new woman every week, I bet. Models, singers, actresses... who's next on your list of conquests? And you have the nerve to talk about faithfulness? Please, you think I was born yesterday?" Susan glanced at him, then turned over and pulled up the blanket.
Of course, Susan secretly glanced at him, thinking, 'Let's see if he explains.'
But Seb never let go of Susan's hand and smiled, asking, "If I said I never touched them, would you believe me?"
"No!" Susan answered loudly.
Hearing this, Seb frowned slightly. "But I still think we're the most compatible, both in life and in bed."
"What do you mean by that? Are you comparing me to those women?" Susan knew he was lying.
The next moment, Seb suddenly pulled the blanket off Susan!
"What are you doing?" Susan exclaimed, trying to pull the blanket back.
But a large figure suddenly pressed down on her, covering her body like a thick blanket.
"I want to experience my conclusion more deeply!" Seb whispered in Susan's ear.
His warm breath tickled her ear, making her itch.
"Let go of me! Did you hear me? Seb, you jerk! Seb." In the end, Susan could only curse Seb, but it was useless. She couldn't stop his advances.
This time, he was gentle and passionate, and he used a condom without her insisting.
Susan went from initial resistance to eventual compliance.
