Chapter 150 Getting Married

Looking up at Seb, who was both commanding and tender, Susan hesitated before snuggling into his arms.

For a moment, they were both deeply moved, their cheeks brushing and fingers intertwined, feeling the warmth between them.

Susan never imagined she'd fall for a guy like Seb, surrounded by so much attention, and that they'd fall in love and even get married. The crazy part? They were about to get married for the second time.

She gently touched Seb's handsome face, thrilled but feeling it was a bit unreal.

When Seb's lips touched her skin, the heat reminded her it was all real.

Maybe their relationship started with raw attraction, but now it was deep love.

This time, Seb was incredibly gentle, so much so that it broke her heart.

He wasn't his usual dominant self; instead, he focused on pleasing her, bringing her to climax multiple times.

Susan felt like a feather, floating up and then gently drifting back down.

When she finally landed, accompanied by Seb's low growl, it was over.

Holding her shoulder, Seb, still panting, said, "I have an important meeting tomorrow. The day after, we'll go to the Vital Records Office to get married."

Lying in his arms, Susan, barely awake, nodded.

Seeing her agree, Seb smiled.

They fell asleep, exhausted.

The next day, Susan woke up late.

As usual, Seb had already gone to work.

But this morning, he had left breakfast and hot milk for her.

Seeing this, Susan smiled.

Sitting at the table in her pajamas, she was so hungry she started eating without washing up.

As she ate, thinking about the craziness of the previous night, her face turned red.

From dusk until morning, they had made love five times!

They had slept twice in between and had a little something to eat. They were practically neglecting sleep and food.

Susan picked up a makeup mirror and saw her puffy eyes, messy hair, wrinkled pajamas, and the lingering scent of intimacy. Thinking about Seb from last night, a happy smile spread across her lips.

Was this love? This feeling was new to her. With Andrew, it was only spiritual. Although Andrew had wanted sex, she had always resisted.

Didn't someone say to win a woman's heart, you must first win her body?

It seemed true; her mind was now completely filled with thoughts of Seb.

Susan shook her head and, after eating, started looking for clothes in her wardrobe.

Since she was getting married tomorrow, she wanted to dress up nicely, even though it was to the same guy she had divorced before!

But her wardrobe had only a few winter coats and sweaters. It seemed she’d have to go shopping if she wants to dress nicely.

This time, Susan wasn't stingy. Getting married, even for the second time, was a big deal. She hoped it would be her last. So, she decided to splurge a few thousand dollars on a new outfit.

Just then, her phone rang.

Excited, she thought it was Seb, but it was Isabella.

Susan frowned. Last night's events were too embarrassing, and Isabella would definitely mock her.

But she couldn't avoid her forever.

Sure enough, as soon as she answered, Isabella's mischievous laughter came through.

"How late were you making love last night? Bet you just got up."

Susan didn't hide anything. "You guessed it. We were at it all night."

Isabella was the type you had to outdo in words. "No way, really all night? I thought I would have scared Seb silly!"

"Don't worry!" Susan retorted.

Isabella kept teasing. "You're the only one who can speak on this."

"If you don't believe me, I can lend Seb to you for a night so you can see for yourself," Susan teased back.

"Forget it, you'd be beside yourself! What if Seb falls for me, then you'd be out of the picture!" Isabella shot back.

Susan didn't want to keep bickering, so she softened her tone. "Seriously, what time do you get off work? Come shopping with me, I need new clothes!"

Isabella paused, surprised. "Did I hear that right? You're willing to buy clothes now? Oh right, you're the CEO's wife now, spending money is no big deal."

"I'm serious, I'm marrying Seb tomorrow!" Susan announced.

"No way, so soon?" Isabella was genuinely surprised.

"I don't have a single decent outfit," Susan complained.

Isabella generously offered, "Alright, I'll take the afternoon off and go shopping with you!"

"You're the best," Susan smiled and flattered her before hanging up.

After hanging up, Susan remembered how last time she didn't tell Catherine and privately married Seb, which made Catherine angry. This time, she had to learn her lesson, so she got dressed and went to share the good news with Catherine.

When she got back, Susan told Catherine about marrying Seb, and Catherine was overjoyed.

"I always said Seb was a good guy. It would have been a shame if you missed out on him. I'm glad you two made up, now I can rest easy!" Catherine said, holding Susan's hand earnestly.
