Chapter 592 Are You Tempting Me
Around ten o'clock, Hayden finally fell asleep.
Watching Hayden's peaceful sleeping face, Susan reached out to pull the blanket up for him. Then she looked up and inevitably met Seb's gaze.
"He's asleep," Seb said.
"Let's go out and let him sleep well," Susan whispered.
"Okay," Seb nodded.
Then, Susan gently got out of bed.
Seb and Susan walked to the door one after the other.
When they reached the door, Susan felt a sudden tightness in her hand. Looking down, she saw that he had already grabbed her hand.
Before Susan could think further, he had already pulled her out of Hayden's bedroom and gently closed the door.
After leaving Hayden's bedroom, Susan suddenly broke free from Seb's hand.
Seb frowned.
Susan looked down and said, "I'm going upstairs."
With that, Susan turned and ran up the stairs.
Susan ran into the bedroom in one breath and leaned against the door.
She simply couldn't be alone with him; otherwise, she really couldn't control her emotions.
When he held her hand just now, she had an urge to throw herself into his arms.
But she held back, not knowing if she could hold back the next moment, so she fled.
Susan knew that to avoid awkwardness, he probably wouldn't stay here overnight.
After all, he had agreed to the divorce; he didn't want his resolve to crumble either.
Susan walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, lifted the curtain, and looked outside to see if Seb's car had left.
But after looking for a long time, there was no light outside except for the streetlights.
She was wondering if he had already left.
At that moment, the door behind her suddenly opened!
Susan turned around in shock, just in time to see Seb walking in from outside.
"You didn't leave?" Susan blurted out the next moment.
Hearing this, Seb stopped in his tracks, frowned, and said, "Do you think I should leave?"
Hearing this, Susan, standing by the window, grabbed the curtain nervously and said, "This is your home; of course, you shouldn't leave."
Susan felt she was too sensitive and nervous today. She told herself to stay calm.
Seb stood at the door, gave Susan a deep look, and then closed the door behind him.
Once the door was closed, the space was left with just Susan and Seb. The room, despite its size, felt small, the air thick with unspoken emotions.
In the bedroom, the crystal chandelier was dazzlingly bright, the peacock blue bedding on the large bed was beautiful, the curtains hung lightly, and Susan's pajamas were still on the bed.
Everything felt so ambiguous to Susan. She and Seb were about to get divorced, and the atmosphere here was completely out of place.
So, the next moment, Susan lifted her foot, reached for her pajamas, and walked towards the door, saying, "I'll sleep in the guest room tonight."
Hearing this, Seb stood there motionless, his eyebrows slightly raised.
As Susan passed by Seb's side, her arm was suddenly grabbed!
Susan looked up and met Seb's deep eyes.
"Do you really need to avoid me like this?" he asked, looking down at her.
Hearing this, Susan said in a panic, "I'm not avoiding you."
But even she couldn't believe this lie. She lowered her eyes, not daring to look into his.
She was indeed avoiding him. She was afraid that once she got close to him, she would never want to leave him again.
The next moment, Susan's shoulders were suddenly grasped by his large hands.
"Don't lie to me, Susan," he said, his grip tightening. "You can't look me in the eye. You're pushing me away."
He knew her too well; she was completely exposed in front of him.
Soon, Susan could no longer suppress her emotions and said tearfully, "Do you even need to ask? We're getting divorced first thing in the morning. Do you still want me to cling to you?"
Hearing this, Seb frowned, released her shoulders, and his hands hung in the air.
His eyes were still fixed on her, but his expression was complex, filled with helplessness and sadness.
His gaze made her heart ache and break. The next moment, Susan frowned and threw herself into his arms!
"Susan!" he called her softly.
She clung to him, burying her face in his chest. This might be her last chance to hold him, to feel the warmth of his embrace. She knew she would regret it if she didn't.
She knew that after the divorce, she would be heartbroken, and he wouldn't feel good either. So she decided that after the divorce, she would never see him again.
Susan looked up, then instantly wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his lips passionately.
Seb was a bit confused, but a few seconds later, he finally started to respond to her.
After kissing for a while, Seb ended the kiss and asked in a low voice, "Have you changed your mind?"
Hearing this, Susan was stunned for a moment, then shook her head and said, "No, I just want to leave a beautiful memory, hoping that this memory can accompany me in the lonely days ahead."
Hearing this, Seb frowned again, reached out to touch her cheek, and remained silent for a long time.
Seeing his indecision, Susan made the decision for him.
The next moment, she kissed him passionately, one hand eagerly tearing at the buttons on his shirt.
Seb, who had been unresponsive for a long time, suddenly grabbed her hand and growled in a low voice, "Susan, don't do this!"
"I want to!" Susan ignored him and continued her actions.
Seb frowned and said, "I don't want to hurt you."
Hearing this, Susan's hand froze!
The next moment, a bright smile appeared on her lips.
"You already have...one more time won't make a difference," Susan said, looking at him with a smile.
From her smile, he saw her determination. His large hand gripped her waist tightly, and he asked in a hoarse voice, "Do you really have to do this?"
"What do you mean 'have to'? Am I no longer attractive to you?" Susan's eyes flickered, her slightly curled eyelashes looking like two little fans.
At this moment, Seb's eyes narrowed, and his gaze carried a hint of danger and charm.
Seeing his gaze, Susan smiled.
Of course, she was still attractive to him. She could tell he was moved by just one look.
The next moment, he lowered his head and kissed her ear.
His warm breath sprayed on her ear, making her feel as if she had been electrified.
Then he whispered, "You're tempting me, you know that?"
"I didn't dare before, but what's wrong with tempting you now?" This time, Susan didn't back down or feel shy, her eyes filled with allure as she stared at him.
