Chapter 853 Desire
"My dance partner is Cecilia," Susan said, glancing at Seb.
Seb tilted his head, "Cecilia? Hayden and Spring's tutor?"
"Yeah, that pretty, proud girl. She was really into you back then," Susan nudged, hoping to jog his memory.
Seb chuckled. "She was Daryl's girlfriend. She only got close to me because she was broke."
"You remember all that, so why'd you forget about me?" Susan asked, puzzled.
"I don't know," Seb muttered, lowering his head and holding it.
Seeing him in discomfort, Susan gently touched his face. "Don't stress about it. I'm not pushing you."
Even though Susan wanted Seb to remember her right away, seeing him in pain made her heart ache.
Seb slowly looked up, meeting her concerned eyes. Almost instinctively, he reached out and stroked her hair.
Despite her not being the young, beautiful girl she once was, he felt an uncontrollable emotion towards her.
Earlier, when he saw her dancing the tango with Marc, he was filled with anger. He couldn't stand anyone else touching her; it drove him mad.
Susan's fingers traced down his cheek, and when they touched his Adam's apple, it moved noticeably.
The temperature around them spiked, and an inexplicable emotion enveloped them.
Susan could even hear her own heartbeat.
Seb's eyes were locked on her, making Susan feel nervous.
Her throat felt dry, and she instinctively licked her pink lips.
That simple action made it impossible for Seb to hold back any longer.
The next moment, he lowered his head and kissed her again.
This time, his actions were still wild but not rough, filled with a man's desire to conquer a woman.
After a moment of surprise, Susan stopped holding back, wrapped her arms around his neck, and responded passionately.
His hands roamed over her body, and she eagerly slipped her hands under his shirt.
The room's temperature soared, their breaths chaotic.
He began kissing her neck, and Susan felt dizzy, her legs weak.
Sensing her enthusiasm, he grabbed her waist and, as if dancing, spun her around before they both fell onto the soft bed.
They kissed passionately, Seb's hands caressing Susan's face, with dim light shining on them.
Just as they were about to lose control, Seb suddenly stopped.
Feeling him pull away, Susan opened her eyes to see his furrowed brow.
Seeing his melancholic gaze, Susan frowned.
Then, Seb turned away from her.
Feeling his distance, Susan's heart felt empty, like she had lost the whole world.
