Chapter 763 Cecilia

Upon hearing this, Susan smiled and said, "I see, then hurry up and take the coffee in."

"Okay." Mary nodded and walked towards the study with the coffee.

Susan quickly ran upstairs; she needed to change into something more formal since Hayden and Spring's tutor was here, and it was necessary to pay a visit.

Ten minutes later, Susan had changed into an elegant khaki dress, pinned her long hair up, and put on some delicate jewelry before heading downstairs.

Meeting Hayden and Spring's tutor, Susan naturally wanted to make a good impression. After all, if the mother was too shabby, it would embarrass Hayden and Spring.

When Susan reached the slightly ajar study door, she hesitated for a moment.

Out of politeness, she knocked on the door, as it wouldn't be appropriate to barge in and interrupt Seb and Cecilia's conversation.

"Come in!" Almost immediately, Seb's voice came from inside the slightly open door.

Susan pushed the door open and entered with a warm smile, fully understanding the importance of respecting teachers.

Susan saw Seb sitting behind the desk, and a young girl sitting across from him. The desk wasn't large, so the two were quite close.

"I heard Hayden and Spring's tutor is here, so I came over to meet her," Susan said to Seb with a smile.

The next moment, Seb stood up from his chair and introduced Susan to the young girl sitting across from him, "This is Hayden and Spring's mother."

At this point, the young girl stood up, turned around, and exchanged glances with Susan.

The girl was very young, around twenty-two, wearing jeans, a white embroidered blouse, white flat shoes, and her blonde hair was tied into a ponytail. She had a delicate necklace on her collarbone, a refined face, especially her beautiful big eyes, and wore a bit of makeup, looking very youthful and sunny.

Seeing Cecilia, Susan's first impression was that she was very youthful, which made her heart inexplicably twitch.

Because when Susan saw her, she suddenly felt old, even though she had never felt that way before.

Especially with her tight skin, full of collagen, Susan subconsciously wanted to touch her own face but held back.

Susan noticed that Cecilia also glanced at her, with a hint of disdain in her eyes.

Susan found it amusing, thinking she might be too sensitive. Cecilia was her children's tutor, and she should show some respect to Cecilia.

"Hello!" Cecilia smiled and greeted Susan.

"Hello, Miss Thorne. I've heard that Hayden and Spring have made great progress under your guidance. Thank you so much," Susan quickly smiled and said.

"Ms. Wilson, right? No need to thank me. I'm employed by Mr. Anderson, and it's my duty to teach Hayden and Spring," Cecilia replied with a smile.

Susan nodded and said, "I heard you teach Hayden and Spring on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. I'd like to know more about the curriculum."

Susan was very concerned about Hayden and Spring's education and wanted to know how the weekend classes were arranged.

At this point, Cecilia hesitated for a moment and smiled, saying, "Ms. Wilson, Mr. Anderson is the guardian of Hayden and Spring, right? I've already discussed the curriculum and schedule with Mr. Anderson. If you want to know the details, you can ask him. I have something to attend to, so I'll take my leave now."

After saying this, Cecilia smiled at Seb and then turned and left the study.

Watching Cecilia's departing figure, Susan felt that Cecilia seemed hostile towards her, but she had never met Cecilia before, so how could she have offended Cecilia?

At this moment, Seb walked over, put his arm around Susan's shoulder, and smiled. "Awake?"

Susan blushed. "Yes."

"Why are you all dressed up so nicely?" Seb looked Susan up and down.

"I heard Hayden and Spring's tutor was here, so I came to greet her out of politeness. But it seems she doesn't care about me, the mother of the children," Susan said, feeling a bit uncomfortable with Cecilia's apparent hostility, even though she admired her.

Seb laughed and said, "She's just a graduate student, probably not very experienced in social interactions. Don't take it to heart."

"Are you familiar with her?" Susan asked, looking up.

"Today was the first time we met in person. We had video calls before, and I chose her from several tutor candidates. So, I guess you could say we know each other. She came today to report on Hayden and Spring's recent academic progress and future plans," Seb explained.

"I see. You're so good with them, so involved in their education. I never even thought about getting them a tutor." Susan said, feeling a bit guilty.

"We each have our strengths. Don't feel bad. I'm planning to stay here for two weeks, and during this time, let's spend quality time with Hayden and Spring," Seb comforted Susan.

"Okay, so what plans do we have for these two weeks?" Susan suddenly became interested.

"Of course, we'll take Hayden and Spring to some amusement parks, the aquarium, try the local food. It's quite cold this season, so we can go skiing. I think as long as the four of us are together, anything we do will be meaningful," Seb said, holding Susan's shoulder and looking forward to it.

"Yes," Susan nodded heavily.

He was right. As long as the four of them were together, everything would be perfect.

In the following days, Seb and Susan took Hayden and Spring around, having a great time as a family.

On Saturday at noon, Seb and Susan took Hayden and Spring out for a big meal.

While they were happily eating, Seb suddenly received a phone call.

"Miss Thorne, hello. Oh, yes, I think you're right. This afternoon, I'll make sure Hayden and Spring are home on time. Okay, goodbye!" Seb said pleasantly before hanging up.

Seeing Seb put down the phone, Susan asked, "Was that Miss Thorne?"

"Yeah, she said Hayden and Spring missed their lessons last week, so they need to catch up this afternoon. Can't let their studies slide," Seb said with a smile.

"She is quite responsible." For some reason, Susan didn't like Cecilia very much. Even though they had only met once, she just had a feeling.

"So, we need to hurry back after we finish eating," Seb said.
