"No problem. I'll definitely go to the photo studio and get a big print, and make you a big frame," Susan said with a smile.
"Don't twist my words. Just a regular size will do." With that, Seb handed the marriage certificate to Susan.
Seb said solemnly, "Put this in the safe when we get home. Don't lose it!"
Susan carefully put it in her bag and said, "I won't lose something like this. I learned my lesson last time when the court wouldn't process the divorce without the marriage certificate."
Hearing this, Seb frowned and then pulled Susan over. "What did you just say?"
"Nothing. I just said I'll keep our marriage certificate safe," Susan said, clutching her bag, not daring to say anything else.
Seb stared at her for a moment, then grabbed her bag, tossed it aside, and pulled her close, sealing her lips with a kiss!
Susan never expected that a joke would lead to such a fierce kiss, almost tearing her lips apart.

Seeing him let go, Susan finally felt relieved, clutching her chest.

Soon, the car stopped in front of the building where Susan worked.
"I'm here," Susan said, grabbing her bag and about to leave.
Seb suddenly grabbed her wrist.
Susan turned back to see his expressionless face as he said, "I'll pick you up after work."
Hearing this, Susan smiled, then looked down at his hand holding her wrist, and touched his big hand with her other hand, nodding.
Seb seemed satisfied with this small gesture, squeezed her hand, and then let go, giving her a slight smile.
Susan got out of the car and walked towards the building without looking back.
She knew he would watch her until she entered the building. This feeling of being watched by a loved one was truly satisfying.
As soon as she walked into the office, Susan heard a commotion inside, as if someone was arguing.
Susan walked in curiously and suddenly saw James, who was arguing with Isabella and Maria.
Seeing him, Susan was taken aback!
After not seeing him for many days, Susan noticed that James had lost a lot of weight, with messy hair and dirty clothes. It was clear he hadn't been doing well.
James, with his back to Susan, didn't see her. He pointed at Isabella and Maria, saying, "I'm the father of the boss here. Get my daughter out here, now!"
Hearing this, Susan's face darkened. How could he have the nerve to call himself her father? Susan found it amusing.
Isabella saw Susan and signaled her to leave quickly.
But Susan didn't move. She knew James too well. He was a scoundrel who bullied the weak and feared the strong. If he didn't find her today, he would come back again. Once he knew her whereabouts, he wouldn't let her go.
She also knew that he couldn't find Dorothy and Catherine, because they were at the sanatorium these days. He must be desperate without a place to stay and wouldn't let her go.
Isabella, seeing Susan still standing there, became anxious.
"If you don't leave, we'll call security," Maria said, trying to scare him since reasoning didn't work.
But James wasn't afraid. "So what if security comes? I'm here to see my daughter. Are you saying a father can't see his daughter here?"
Maria and Isabella were speechless, while James looked smug.
At this moment, Susan walked straight up to James and calmly said, "Aren't you looking for me? I'm here!"
