Chapter 594 We're Already Divorced

Susan knew that he just wanted to spend more time with her, just like she did.

So, Susan tacitly leaned her head on his shoulder, their fingers gently caressing each other, not wanting to disappoint his intentions.

Soon, Leon parked the car by the side of a building.

Before getting out, Leon said, "Mr. Anderson, please wait a moment, I'll go upstairs to get the coffee beans."

With that, Leon left.

After Leon left, Seb suddenly couldn't control his emotions and kissed Susan on the lips.

Susan was stunned!

Then, she wrapped her arms around his neck and passionately kissed him back.

Since last night, she had lost count of how many times he had kissed her, but their passion hadn't waned; instead, it had intensified, as this might be their last kiss.

After a lingering kiss, they both looked at each other, breathless.

Their eyes met, but they didn't know what to say.

Susan felt like she had a lot to say to him, but she couldn't bring herself to say it.

They were about to get divorced; she couldn't say things like "I love you" or "I can't live without you," so she said nothing.

Seb probably felt the same way, so he lowered his head and kissed her again, deeply and passionately.

This was the only way they could express their feelings for each other.

For about half an hour, Susan and Seb were in the car, passionately kissing and almost making love.

Leon probably understood Seb's feelings, so he didn't return until nearly half an hour later.

When Leon returned, he pretended not to notice anything, got into the driver's seat, and started the engine.

Sitting in the back seat, Susan looked down and straightened her clothes.

At that moment, a large hand reached over and helped her tidy her slightly messy hair.

Susan lowered her eyelids, her eyes fixed on his hand.

Although they were reluctant to part and deeply affectionate, they both knew this stolen moment couldn't last. The courthouse loomed, a stark reminder of the reality they had to face.

Soon, Leon parked the car in the courthouse parking lot.

Leon opened the car door, and Seb got out first. As Susan was getting out, Seb extended his hand to help her.

Seeing his hand, Susan hesitated for a moment but still reached out her hand.

After helping her out of the car, he didn't let go of her hand. He held her hand, and they walked into the courthouse together.

Today, there were many people getting married, but very few getting divorced, so Seb and Susan quickly got their turn.

The clerk glanced at them and verified their documents, then looked up and asked, "Why are you two getting divorced?"

Seb and Susan exchanged a glance, and Seb replied, "Incompatible personalities."

The clerk looked at the contents of the agreement and kindly said, "I see you already have two children. Are you sure you don't want to reconsider? After all, personality differences can be reconciled."

At this moment, Susan firmly said, "No need, we've thought it through."

Hearing this, the clerk looked at Seb.

Seb glanced at Susan and nodded. "We've thought it through."

The clerk had no choice but to nod. "Alright, I'll process your divorce right away."

The clerk guided Seb and Susan to fill out the forms and then asked them to sign.

"Please sign here."

Looking at the form in front of him, Seb picked up the pen, frowning.

Although Susan's heart was aching, she knew she had to be decisive, or Seb wouldn't be able to make up his mind.

Then, Susan reached for the form in front of Seb, picked up the pen, frowned slightly, and resolutely signed her name on the form.

After signing, Susan felt a lump in her throat, so she quickly pushed the form to Seb and turned her face away, not looking at him.

Out of the corner of her eye, Susan saw Seb finally pick up the pen and quickly sign his name on the form, then hand it to the clerk.

Soon, the clerk completed the procedures and handed two divorce decrees to Seb and Susan.

When Susan received the divorce decree, her hand felt heavy.

This was the second time she and Seb had divorced, but this time the pain was even more excruciating than the first.

Susan didn't even know how she walked out of the courthouse.

After receiving the divorce decree, Susan deliberately kept a certain distance from Seb.

They were now strangers, and thinking about this made Susan want to cry, but she knew it wasn't the time to cry. She held back, knowing that if she cried, Seb's heart would be even more troubled.

Seb noticed Susan's deliberate distance, and his expression grew serious.

As they walked down the steps, Seb said, "I'll take you to the lawyer's office."

Susan shook her head and said, "I can go by myself."

Hearing this, Seb frowned and said, "Then let Leon take you. I'll take a cab back to the company."

Seeing the concern in his eyes, Susan stepped forward and said, "Seb, we're already divorced."

"What does that have to do with anything?" he shot back, his voice laced with frustration.

"It changes everything," she whispered, her heart shattering with each word.

Hearing this, Seb chose to remain silent.

Susan continued, "We're not kids anymore. This divorce decree is serious. Didn't we agree not to see each other again?"

With that, Susan turned and walked away.

"Susan," Seb called out to her back.

Hearing his call, Susan deliberately didn't stop and kept walking forward, tears silently streaming down her face.

She told herself, 'Don't look back, don't let him see your tears, just let him see your resolute back.'

Seb frowned, watching Susan's back as she walked away.

After walking about a mile, Susan finally covered her mouth with her hand.

She wanted to cry, to cry her heart out, not caring about the curious eyes of passersby.

At this moment, she had arrived at the office building where she worked.

Suddenly, someone walked over and patted her on the shoulder.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you crying like this? Did someone bully you? Or did you have another fight with Seb?" Isabella, who had come downstairs to buy something, saw Susan standing there crying and asked with a frown.
