Chapter 567 Now I Can Hug You
In the evening, Leon brought Mary, Kathy, Hayden, and Spring back home.
Kathy was cooking in the kitchen, Susan was helping, and Mary was playing with Hayden and Spring in the living room.
For a moment, the villa was brightly lit, filled with laughter and joy, and the warm family atmosphere returned.
Seb, dressed in loungewear, came downstairs groggily.
He was woken up by the shouts of Hayden and Spring. Hearing the children's voices, he couldn't resist any longer and came downstairs without changing his clothes.
"Daddy! Daddy!" Hayden was the first to see Seb and ran over excitedly to hug Seb's leg.
Patting Hayden's head, Seb smiled and said, "Hayden, did you miss me?"
"Daddy, where have you been these days? Mommy said you were on a business trip. Where did you go?" Hayden looked up at Seb with his big round eyes.
Hearing this, Seb replied guiltily, "I was very busy recently, but I'm not busy now. I'll play with you these days, okay?"
"Okay." Hayden clapped his hands excitedly upon hearing this.
"Daddy, Daddy." At this moment, Spring also ran over unsteadily.
Seeing Spring, Seb immediately picked her up.
Spring was thrilled to be lifted high, clapping her little hands on Seb's cheeks.
Seeing Spring being held, Hayden pouted and said, "Daddy is biased, holding Spring but not me!"
Looking down at Hayden's unhappy face, Seb smiled and then bent down to pick up Hayden with his other arm, laughing loudly. "You're a big boy now, still jealous of Spring? Aren't you ashamed?"
"I'm not a big boy yet; I'm still a little kid, okay?" Hayden said, pretending to be pitiful.
For a moment, Seb was holding Spring in his left arm and Hayden in his right, wandering around the living room, with Hayden and Spring's laughter echoing throughout the villa.
At this time, Susan glanced outside from the kitchen and couldn't help but smile.
Kathy came over and whispered, "Mrs. Anderson, have you and Mr. Anderson made up?"
Hearing this, Susan blushed and nodded.
"Men, they're simple creatures," Kathy said, her voice laced with amusement. "A little tenderness goes a long way. Trust me, Mr. Anderson's all bark and no bite. Just keep that in mind."
"I'll go check on them." Susan wiped her hands on her apron, not wanting to listen to Kathy's nagging, and turned to leave the kitchen.
Seeing Susan come out, Seb, holding the two children, came over and whispered in her ear, "I don't have a third hand to hold you now."
Hearing this, Susan blushed and scolded, "Don't talk nonsense in front of the kids!"
At this moment, Seb put the two children down and said to Mary, "Mary, watch them for a bit."
"Hayden, Spring, come play a game with me," Mary called out, and Hayden and Spring ran over to play with her.
Seb and Susan saw that Mary quickly had the children playing happily and both smiled.
At this moment, Seb suddenly took Susan's hand quietly.
Susan looked down to see his hand tightly holding hers, and before she could react, he pulled her upstairs.
Susan couldn't help but exclaim, "I'm helping Kathy with dinner. Where are you taking me?"
Seb didn't say a word until he brought her into the bedroom.
Once inside, Seb closed the door and pressed Susan against it!
"What are you doing? Stop it!" Seb kissed her neck, making Susan squirm with ticklishness.
Seb held Susan tightly and whispered hoarsely, "Now I'm holding you with both hands. Are you still jealous?"
"How could I be jealous? Why would I be jealous of the kids? Let go of me; I need to help with dinner," Susan pushed Seb away.
But Seb pressed her tightly against the door. "Let Kathy handle it. Didn't I say I would spend quality time with you?"
"Don't mess around. The kids, Kathy, and Mary are all downstairs. If we don't go down soon, they'll laugh at us," Susan protested.
But how could she resist Seb's advances?
Soon, her protests turned into soft murmurs.
Over half an hour later, the room finally quieted down.
Susan hurriedly got dressed while Seb lazily leaned against the headboard, reaching out to pull Susan's arm.
Annoyed, Susan brushed his hand away and complained, "It's all your fault. It's been an hour, and no one came to call us. They must know we're up here being all lovey-dovey!"
Seb, however, was indifferent. "That means they are considerate."
"Get up quickly. They must have finished dinner by now. Let's go downstairs!" Susan urged.
Reluctantly, Seb slowly got dressed, and by the time Susan dragged him downstairs, it was already quiet.
Susan saw Hayden and Spring sitting on the couch, engrossed in a cartoon, with Mary accompanying them, while Kathy was cleaning up.
Seeing Susan and Seb come down, Kathy smiled and said, "Mr. Anderson, Mrs. Anderson, we saved some food for you. The kids were hungry, so they ate first. We didn't wait for you."
Hearing this, Susan noticed Kathy's eyes darting between her and Seb, with a strange expression. Susan knew what she was thinking.
Just as Susan was about to speak, Seb nodded and said, "You did a good job."
After speaking, Seb turned and went into the dining room.
Hearing Seb's words, Susan felt extremely embarrassed!
Seeing Kathy's eyes still on her, with a smirk, Susan's face blushed, and she followed Seb into the dining room.
The table was filled with a sumptuous meal, and Kathy had thoughtfully kept the food warm, so it was still hot when served.
Kathy was indeed considerate. After setting the table, she left the dining room.
After Kathy left, Susan saw Seb in good spirits, eating heartily, and couldn't help but give him a look.
"You could try to be a little more discreet," Susan hissed, taking her seat at the table.
"We're married; darling. Nothing to be ashamed of." Seb laughed, holding Susan's hand.
Susan could only shake her head. Seb was just shameless.
