Chapter 754 Male Chauvinism

Seeing Susan's nervous expression, Isabella frowned and said, "I'm not mad at you."

"Then what's wrong? You seemed so happy last night. And you slept in late, too!" Susan teased.

At this moment, Isabella helplessly said, "I feel really happy and content when I'm with him. I truly love him. I didn't understand your love for Seb before, but now I do. Loving someone...it makes you throw caution to the wind. But...there's this doubt I can't shake."

"What do you mean? Did Leon do something?" Seeing Isabella's sad expression, Susan couldn't help but ask.

"He's very good to me, very accommodating, but..." Isabella glanced at Susan, then blushed and said, "You don't know, when we make love, he's very careful about contraception, afraid that I'll get pregnant. Do you think that's normal?"

Hearing this, Susan furrowed and said, "We're using contraception too. Maybe you and Leon haven't planned to get married yet, so he doesn't want you to get pregnant."

Isabella replied, "You use contraception because you already have two kids, and it's not convenient for you to have more. But we're different. If he truly loved me, he would be eager for me to have his children."

Hearing this, Susan lowered her eyes.

Actually, Isabella wasn't wrong. Logically, Leon and Isabella were already inseparable and so sweet together. If he were a responsible man, he would be eager to marry Isabella. But now, not only was there no sign of that, but he was also very careful about contraception, which was indeed suspicious.

However, Susan trusted Leon's character; he was definitely not an irresponsible playboy.

Then, Susan smiled and said, "Leon has been single for so many years, and he hasn't known you for long. Maybe he hasn't seriously considered marriage yet. Don't overthink it. Just let things take their course. We can trust Leon's character."

"Alright, maybe I haven't moved him enough to want to marry me," Isabella said sadly.

"Isabella," Susan said, patting Isabella's hand.

Isabella then smiled and said, "Don't worry, I'm over thirty. It's not that I want to get married; I'm just a bit uneasy. Forget it, I won't think about it anymore. At least I'm happy now, so I'll just enjoy each day as it comes and savor the love!"

What Susan admired most about Isabella was her ability to let things go.

Although she wasn't as carefree as Isabella, she was also someone who could let things go. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to endure all the hardships she had faced since childhood.

"Alright, hurry up and change into your swimsuit. Let's go play in the sea," Isabella said to Susan with a smile.

"You go first, I'll be right there," Susan replied with a smile.

"Hurry up," Isabella said before leaving the tent.

After Isabella left, Susan quickly found the swimsuit she had bought earlier and started changing.

Five minutes later, Susan emerged from the tent in a light blue swimsuit.

As soon as Susan stepped out of the tent, Seb's gaze became incredibly dark.

Susan's swimsuit was already relatively modest, but it still accentuated her figure and inevitably revealed a lot of skin.

The swimsuit was low-cut and backless, perfectly showcasing her curves, long arms and legs, and flowing hair. Susan walked barefoot on the beach, her smile radiant, her eyes like crescent moons, making it impossible to look away.

The next moment, Seb, already in his swim trunks, walked up to Susan.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Is something wrong with me?" Susan noticed his strange expression.

At this moment, Seb draped a scarf over Susan's shoulders and said, "I'm starting to regret buying you this swimsuit."

"What's wrong with this swimsuit?" Susan looked down at herself, not seeing anything wrong.

Seb didn't answer but pulled her into his arms.

At this moment, Isabella, standing in the water, called out to Susan, "Susan, come on, it's fun here!"

"Coming," Susan replied and tried to walk over.

But Seb held her back.

"What are you doing? Let go of me, Isabella is calling me," Susan said, annoyed.

Seb refused to let go and domineeringly said, "You're not allowed to play with Isabella."

"Why?" Susan furrowed, not understanding what Seb was up to.

"Susan, what are you doing? Come over here!" Isabella continued to call out to Susan.

Susan was anxious and struggled in Seb's arms, but he wouldn't let go.

Then, Seb called out to Leon, "Leon, come over here!"

Leon, who was playing in the water with Isabella, heard Seb's call and quickly ran over.

"Mr. Anderson, what's wrong?" Leon asked, panting, clearly having a good time.

"Take your woman and play on the other side of the beach," Seb said, pointing in a direction.

"Huh?" Leon clearly didn't understand what Seb meant.

Seb tightened his hold on Susan and frowned, saying, "I don't want to see your woman, and you're not allowed to see mine."

Susan stared at him, stunned. He was being ridiculous! Her swimsuit was perfectly appropriate. He was just being absurdly possessive.

Understanding Seb's meaning, Leon smiled and said, "I think that's a good idea."

Then, Leon turned and walked over to Isabella, put his arm around her shoulder, and led her in the direction Seb had pointed.

Isabella, not understanding, shouted, "Where are you taking me?"

"We're going to play over there," Leon said, pointing in that direction.

Isabella protested, "I want to play with Susan. Let go of me, didn't you hear?"

"Shut up and behave!" Leon said, deliberately putting on a stern face.

"Why are you being so harsh with me? Did I do something to offend you?" Isabella wasn't afraid and immediately got angry.

"Look at what you're wearing. Don't stay here, let's go play over there," Leon said, glancing at Isabella's two-piece swimsuit.

Isabella was wearing a bikini, which was much more revealing than Susan's swimsuit.
