Chapter 659 Play A Game with You
After a moment, Seb picked up the phone from the nightstand and tossed it in front of Susan.
"Aren't you going to call the police? You can call them now," Seb said, his deep eyes coldly staring at the tearful Susan.
Susan glanced at the phone by her side, then quickly grabbed it and glared at Seb, saying, "Don't think I won't do it, Seb."
"Go ahead and call the police. I'm not afraid of going to jail!" Seb said, turning to sit on the small stool by the vanity. He pulled out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and quickly lit one.
Susan quickly dialed 911, but her finger hesitated over the call button.
If the police came, she could indeed press charges, but What good would it do? Dragging him through the mud wouldn't change what happened. It would only hurt her children, shame them.
"What? Afraid to call now?" Seb mocked, seeing Susan's hesitation.
In a fit of anger, Susan threw the phone at Seb. He didn't dodge, and the phone missed, hitting the vanity and falling to the floor, likely broken.
"I'm not afraid," she spat. "I just refuse to drag my children through the mud for your amusement. Get out! I never want to see you again!"
Seb took a couple of drags from his cigarette, then tossed the butt on the floor and stood up arrogantly. "If you don't call the police, it means you enjoy this. You want it!"
"Seb, you bastard!" Susan's hands trembled with rage.
He actually said something so despicable and shameless. Susan felt like she was going crazy. How had they come to this?
"I warn you, don't curse at me, or you'll never see Hayden and Spring again!" Seb suddenly roared in fury.
Seb had indeed hit Susan's vulnerabilities. His words silenced her immediately.
Susan couldn't live without Hayden and Spring. She could only cry silently.
Seeing her silence, Seb sneered, "I know you only care about the kids. No one else matters to you. You just want more money and property."
Susan remained silent, letting him say whatever he wanted. After all, that was how he saw her. But at this moment, Susan's hand clenched tightly around the blanket wrapped around her.
The next moment, Seb suddenly stepped forward and reached out his hand.
Susan reflexively leaned back.
Her reaction made Seb frown. Then, his hand touched her hair, cheek, and shoulder.
Susan was terrified of his touch. He had been like a demon earlier, and her whole body still ached.
Seeing her fear, Seb smirked and withdrew his hand. "Tomorrow at 7 PM, Rylee and I have a board dinner. You'll have two hours to visit Hayden and Spring."
"Really?" Susan asked, delighted.
Seb glanced at Susan coldly. "Do you know why I'm suddenly letting you see Hayden and Spring?"
"Why?" Susan looked at Seb's cynical face, sensing it wouldn't be that simple. He couldn't have suddenly changed his mind.
"Don't play coy. You didn't sleep with me for free," he said, straightening his shirt.
"What did you say?" Susan stared at Seb in disbelief.
What did he mean? Susan's heart shattered. Was he saying she didn't sleep with him for free?
Seeing Susan's distressed face, Seb smirked. This was probably the result he wanted. He wanted to humiliate her, to hurt her.
"Susan, I'm no longer interested in your heart, but I'm not tired of your body yet. Let's make a deal," Seb suddenly said, looking at the stunned Susan.
"What deal?" Susan asked.
"From now on, every time you sleep with me, I'll let you see the kids," Seb said.
Susan couldn't believe her ears.
"What did you say?" Susan's eyes locked onto Seb.
"I said if you want to see the kids again, you have to get into my bed willingly!" Seb said.
"You're despicable. You have women throwing themselves at you, yet you choose to humiliate me like this?" Susan shouted, losing control.
"You're right. But right now, I just want to play this game with you. Is that a problem?" Seb said, excited by Susan's madness.
Susan clenched her fists and gritted her teeth. "I won't let you have your way!"
"Then we'll see. If you change your mind, call me anytime," Seb said, turning to leave.
At the door, Seb suddenly stopped in his tracks, turned back, and said coldly, "You'd better go to the pharmacy and get some morning-after pills. I don't want you having my child again because you're not worthy!"
With that, he walked out.
It wasn't until she heard the front door slam that Susan's tears flowed again.
Susan collapsed on the bed, her tears soaking the sheets.
How could he do this?
The next morning, Susan went to the pharmacy to buy morning-after pills. She really didn't want to get pregnant again, especially not now.
Despite hating Seb and the previous night, Susan dressed up carefully the next evening and bought many of Hayden and Spring's favorite foods before heading to the villa.
She didn't want the kids to see her swollen eyes and haggard face. Though two hours was short, it allowed her to spend time with them.
Susan cherished those two precious hours. Hayden and Spring were also very happy. Seeing their smiles made all her suffering and humiliation worth it.
Hayden and Spring were reluctant to let her go when she left.
"Mommy, when will you come to see us again?" Hayden asked, clutching Susan's dress.
Spring, in Susan's arms, wrapped her chubby hands around Susan's neck and said in her sweet childlike voice, "Mommy, don't go!"
