Chapter 67 Seb, Come Back

The next moment, Seb seemed to think of something. He shook off Susan's hand, walked to the sofa, picked up Susan's bag, and took out her phone.

"What are you doing with my phone?" Susan tried to snatch it back, confused by his actions.

Seb raised his arm, keeping the phone out of her reach. After a few failed attempts, she gave up. There were no secrets on her phone anyway, so she crossed her arms and sat down on the sofa.

But her attempt to grab the phone made Seb suspicious. He turned it on and started checking her messages and call logs.

When he saw the call logs, his face darkened. He shoved the phone in front of Susan. "What is this?"

Susan glanced at the call log with disdain, showing Henry's name with five or six recent calls between them.

"Seb, are you serious? Can't I have a normal friend?" she snapped, annoyed.

"That Henry guy has always been into you, and you know it. While I was away in Maple Valley, you were in close contact with him. What does that mean? Have you never stopped seeing him, or have you rekindled things in the past few days?" Seb angrily threw the phone against the wall. It hit with a loud crash and fell to the floor in pieces.

Seeing her phone shattered, Susan angrily swung at him. "Seb, you're making baseless accusations!"

Seb let her small fists hit his chest. When she was exhausted, he suddenly bent down and scooped her up.

"What are you doing? Put me down right now!" Susan grabbed Seb's collar in panic, not knowing what he intended to do.

Seb, holding Susan, walked out the door. Kathy quickly followed. "Mr. Anderson, where are you taking Mrs. Anderson?"

"Pack up Susan's daily necessities. Someone will come to pick you up later," Seb said, then walked out the door with Susan in his arms.

Kathy stood there, stunned.

"Seb, what exactly do you want? Put me down right now!" Susan shouted, but Seb ignored her, attracting curious glances from others.

When they reached the parking lot, Leon was already waiting. He was momentarily stunned but quickly opened the car's back door.

Seb gently tossed Susan into the back seat and then got in the car himself.

Free, Susan tried to open the car door, but it was locked, and she couldn't unlock it no matter how hard she tried.

By this time, Leon had gotten into the car and was driving out of the neighborhood.

Susan knew she couldn't get out, so she turned angrily to Seb. "Where are you taking me?"

"You'll know soon enough," Seb said, expressionless.

Angrily, Susan hit the car window, but the hard glass hurt her fingers, making her gasp in pain.

Seb noticed and his brow furrowed slightly.

The car kept driving towards the suburbs, then suddenly took the winding road up Butterfly Hill, a well-known spot outside Maple Valley.

Seeing the car heading up the hill, Susan shouted, "Why are you taking me to Butterfly Hill?"

Seb closed his eyes, ignoring her.

Susan turned to Leon, who was driving. "Mr. Johnson, stop the car. I want to get out!"

Leon looked troubled. "Mrs. Anderson, I can't stop without Mr. Anderson's orders."

Susan's face turned pale with anger, but she was helpless. She decided to stay silent and see what Seb was up to.

After more than half an hour, the car turned into a villa area near the top of the hill.

This place, at the peak of Butterfly Hill, was densely wooded with babbling brooks, blending artificial landscapes with stylish villas, seamlessly connecting cultural and natural scenery.

Such villas were undoubtedly expensive, and the car drove into the largest one with a garden.

When the car stopped in the garden, Susan glanced outside, somewhat understanding Seb's intention.

He wanted to confine her here, right? In the city, she was disobedient and ran around. If he left her here, she wouldn't be able to get down the hill alone.

Susan broke out in a cold sweat. Seb was truly terrifying. In this secluded mountain, where she wouldn't see anyone all day, he could easily dispose of her body.

Leon opened the car door for Susan, but she refused to get out.

Standing on the cobblestone path, Seb approached the car door and coldly said, "Get out!"

"I'm not getting out..." Before Susan could finish, Seb grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the car.

"Let go of me." Amid Susan's shouts, Seb dragged her into the villa.

He threw her onto the leather sofa. "You'll stay here until you give birth, so you don't run around looking for men."

He was still angry, his eyes cold and his face dark, but he was trying to control his temper, afraid of hurting the baby in Susan's belly.

Seeing her suspicions confirmed, Susan said, "Bullshit! How can I stay here? I have a lot of things to do. Take me back right now!"

Dorothy was transferring her major and needed her help with many things. Catherine's back was hurting, and she was waiting for her to take her to the doctor. How could she stay here?

"Kathy will bring your daily necessities tonight to take care of you. You'd better not run around. This peak of Butterfly Hill hasn't been developed into a tourist spot yet, so wild animals can appear at any time." Seb warned Susan and then turned and left the villa.

Realizing what was happening, Susan quickly chased after him, only to see Seb already in the car, which Leon was driving out of the garden.

"Seb, come back!" Susan shouted in panic.

But the garden gate was already closing slowly, and she could only see the security guard waving at Seb's car.

Susan sat on the doorstep in despair. That bastard Seb had really left her on this mountaintop!
