Chapter 877 I Wasn't Following You; This Is My Home

"Don't touch me!" Susan snapped, dodging Seb's outstretched arm.

She was completely grossed out by Seb's playful attitude and constant pestering.

Seeing her annoyed face, Seb grinned and looked around at the passersby. "Want me to show everyone how much I miss you right here? I don't mind, but you might get embarrassed."

"Jerk!" Susan shot back, rolling her eyes.

She turned on her heel and walked away quickly, not wanting to deal with Seb any longer.

It wasn't that she didn't want to be with him or that she didn't love him anymore; his actions just made it harder for her to move on.

He was going to marry Ellie. Susan had just started to feel better and didn't want to mess up her emotions again.

The villa wasn't far from the supermarket, and in her anger, Susan soon found herself at the entrance.

She noticed a black luxury car parked in front of the villa.

She recognized it; it was the one Seb had arranged for them in Northstar City.

Standing in front of the villa were the driver and a guy in black trousers and a white shirt, each holding a big plastic bag.

Susan recognized those bags; they were the groceries she had just bought.

No wonder the bags Seb was holding had disappeared; he had handed them off to these two.

The driver approached with a smile. "Mrs. Anderson, should we take these inside?"

Susan frowned. "Call me Ms. Wilson."

The driver had always called her that, so why the sudden change?

"Mr. Anderson told us to call you Mrs. Anderson," the driver explained with a smile.

Susan was stunned and turned to see Seb standing right behind her, smiling deeply.

She glared at him, thinking, 'Is this funny to him? He's marrying Ellie, and I've decided to let go. What's the point of teasing me?'

Knowing it was pointless to argue, she turned and walked into the villa.

Seb followed her through the black wrought-iron gate.

"Why do you keep following me?" she snapped.

"I'm not following you; this is my home!" Seb replied innocently, looking at the villa door like he owned the place.

Susan was momentarily speechless. He was right; this was his home. The house, the yard, the furniture—everything was his.

She had no reason to stop him.

In the end, she just glared at him before reluctantly heading inside.

After changing her shoes, Susan walked into the living room and saw Isabella coming out of the bedroom after her nap.

"Did you finish shopping?" Isabella asked, stretching as she saw Susan.

"Yeah," Susan nodded.

Just then, a tall figure appeared at the entrance.

Isabella's eyes widened when she saw Seb. "Why is he here?" she asked Susan, pointing at him.

Susan sighed, clearly annoyed. "This house is his; he can come whenever he wants."

Isabella wasn't about to let it go. She shot a sarcastic look at Seb. "Shouldn't you be on your honeymoon? What brings you to Northstar City? Trouble in paradise?"

Seb, still smiling, replied, "Everything's great. I just came to see Hayden and Spring, no trouble or bad luck involved."

Mentioning Hayden and Spring made Isabella even angrier. She put her hands on her hips. "How dare you mention them? You found them a stepmother in no time. You're the worst father ever!"

Seb, losing patience, glanced at her belly. "Maybe you should focus on yourself and not worry about my business."

"Oh, I get it now. You're as shameless as Leon." Isabella shouted.

"Hey, this is my place. I provide for you, and you don't even thank me. Do you have to shout at me?" Seb snapped.

"Do you think I want to be here? If it weren't for Susan and her kids, I'd be long gone!" Isabella's voice softened, realizing Seb was right; it was his house, and he was paying for everything.

Susan quickly stepped forward, grabbing Isabella's hand. "Alright, stop arguing. Don't stress yourself out."

"Do you think I want to argue with him? I'm just standing up for you," Isabella huffed, sitting down on the couch and holding her waist.

Suddenly, Seb grabbed Susan's wrist.

Feeling his tight grip, Susan looked down at his large hand holding her wrist. "What are you doing?" she struggled.

"I need to talk to you," Seb said, pulling Susan upstairs.

"I have nothing to say to you. Let go of me!" Susan struggled, but Seb didn't listen and dragged her upstairs.

Seeing this, Isabella stood up and shouted, "Seb, don't hurt Susan! Let her go!"

"This is between us as a couple. It's none of your business!" Seb said, continuing to pull Susan upstairs.

Isabella was utterly confused.

'When did they become a couple again? Could things have changed?' she wondered, feeling a glimmer of hope for Susan.

Still worried, she ran to the staircase and shouted, "Seb, don't you dare bully Susan, or I'll fight you!"

"Save your energy for having your baby!" Seb's voice came from upstairs.

Isabella's eyebrows shot up, and she thought with a complex expression, 'Could Seb have regretted it? Or has he remembered his feelings for Susan?'
