Chapter 377 Teaching Mommy a Lesson

Seeing Hayden's big ol' eyes, Susan felt super embarrassed. She was sprawled out on the bed, face covered, totally speechless at Hayden's question.

Seb's eyes darted around, and he said, "Mommy was being naughty, so I'm giving her a lesson."

Hayden immediately chimed in, "Oh, I get it, Mommy got wasted last night, huh?"

"Yep!" Seb nodded quickly.

Hayden then said, "Daddy, when chicks drink too much, they need a good lesson. You keep going, and I'll go downstairs to teach Spring. She was crying and not eating right last night, so I gotta give her a good lesson too!"

With that, Hayden turned and left.

Susan was beyond frustrated hearing this.

Once the door shut, Seb lay on the bed, laughing his head off.

"Seb, why didn't you lock the door last night?" Susan scolded him after Hayden left.

"I never lock the door when I sleep," Seb replied, still chuckling.

Susan, super annoyed, said, "The kids are getting older. They can't just barge in like this!"

"Spring's still young, and Hayden's a boy. It's good to give him some early sex ed; it'll help him with girls later," Seb said casually.

"You're gonna mess him up! He is still young!" Susan snapped back.

Next thing she knew, Seb pounced on her again!

"What are you doing?" Susan resisted.

With a mischievous grin, Seb said, "Hayden said I should keep teaching you."

"Stop it! Let go of me," Susan pushed against his chest, but it was no use.

Just then, the door swung open again!

Seb reacted fast, jumping off Susan in a flash.

Hayden stood at the door, grinning, "Daddy, Mommy, Kathy said it's time for breakfast."

Susan smiled, feeling like Hayden had just saved her.

Seb, on the other hand, frowned and said sternly, "You go downstairs first. We'll be down after we freshen up."

Hayden nodded quickly, not daring to say more, and backed out.

After Hayden left, Seb lay on the bed, frowning and muttering, "He's gonna give me erectile dysfunction."

Susan burst out laughing at that.

Seb glared at her. "You're still laughing?"

Susan started getting dressed and said, "You need to be more careful in the future. Don't act recklessly and set a bad example for the kids."

Seb was still fuming on the bed.

Half an hour later, the dining table downstairs was all warm and cozy.

At a fancy, long table, Seb, in a white shirt, sat at the head, reading the morning paper while eating.

Susan sat to Seb's left, with Spring on her lap, feeding her spoonfuls of food.

Hayden sat to Seb's right. Knowing Seb was in a bad mood today, he kept his head down, eating quietly.

Since Susan and Spring moved in, the villa wasn't so empty and cold anymore. Mealtimes, especially, were lively, and the place was filled with laughter every day.

Soon, Hayden finished eating.

Kathy stepped forward and said, "Mr. Anderson, I'll take Hayden to his Taekwondo class."

"Alright," Seb said, still looking all serious.

Hayden was totally freaked out by Seb's stern vibe.

Susan shot Seb a look and gently said to Hayden, "Be careful on the way, Hayden."

"Got it," Hayden replied before Kathy whisked him away.

Once Hayden was gone, Susan whispered, "Why are you so hard on him? You're scaring the poor kid."

"If Hayden keeps this up, I'm gonna end up with erectile dysfunction," Seb whispered back in Susan's ear.

Susan chuckled and playfully smacked his arm. "You're not that fragile."

"How about we head upstairs and did it again later?" Seb's lips curled into a mischievous grin.

Susan blushed, glanced at Mary who was tidying up the living room, and nudged his arm, whispering, "Mary's here; cut it out!"

Seb raised an eyebrow but then obediently went back to his newspaper.

Susan zoned out for a sec, fed Spring another spoonful, and then asked, "Seb, does Leon have a girlfriend?"

"Not that I know of," Seb replied, eyes still glued to the paper.

Susan's face lit up. "What do you think about setting him up with Isabella?"

Seb looked up, frowned, and said, "That crazy chick? No way!"

Susan got mad and raised her voice. "What do you mean 'crazy chick'? Isabella's got great character and conduct."

Not wanting to argue, Seb softened his tone. "Okay, Isabella's great, but she's not right for Leon."

"How is she not right? They're the same age and look good together," Susan insisted.

Seb glanced at her, then back at his paper. "Listen, you might end up giving Isabella a psychological trauma."

"What do you mean?" Susan frowned.

Seb looked up and smirked. "Leon won't be into Isabella."

Susan's determination only grew. She pursed her lips and said, "That's not necessarily true. If you could fall for me, I don't believe Leon won't be interested in Isabella."

"Not all guys are like me, falling for a crazy chick," Seb grinned, showing off his white teeth.

"Who are you calling a crazy chick?" Susan was a bit annoyed.

"I just like you the way you are," Seb smiled and held her hand.

Susan shot him a glare, fed Spring another spoonful, and then lowered her head in thought. She needed to find a chance to talk to Leon first. If he was interested, then she’d talk to Isabella. If not, it wouldn't hurt Isabella's feelings.

Soon, Spring in Susan's arms burped. Susan wiped her mouth with a napkin. "Our little Spring is full, huh?"

"I wanna go out to play," Spring said, pointing out the window.

"Sweetie, I haven't finished eating yet. Let me finish my meal, and then I'll take you out to play, okay?" Susan coaxed.

"No, no," Spring shook her head.

Susan was in a bit of a bind. Just then, Seb looked up and said, "Mary, take Spring to the park to get some sun."
