Chapter 908 Making Love
Leon didn't know much about Isabella's past or her family, but he could tell she'd been through a lot. Despite her tough exterior, she was really just a girl who needed love and security.
Right now, Leon felt a connection with Isabella, like they were both dealing with the same struggles, and it brought them closer.
Isabella, drunk and out of it, found comfort in Leon's warm embrace. It made her feel safe, easing her lonely heart.
She clung to him like a sunflower seeking the sun, craving warmth and comfort.
Leon, feeling a bit tipsy himself, wanted to gently push her away, but she wouldn't let go.
"Don't leave me, I'm really lonely," she whispered in his ear, eyes closed.
Leon frowned at that.
He'd felt lonely too over the years. With no family or close friends around, he had to keep pushing himself, using his busy life and achievements to fill the void.
Being so close, Leon felt his body heat up and his breathing quicken, but Isabella still wouldn't let go.
Leon, being a guy, knew what was happening. He was over thirty, and while he wasn't a stranger to relationships, they were always short-lived.
But Isabella was different. She wasn't the type for casual flings; she was just drunk. He couldn't hurt her.
So, he pushed her away, maybe a bit too forcefully.
Isabella, too drunk to react, fell onto the bed. Leon quickly moved to help her up, trying to get her comfortable on the bed.
But missing the warmth, she clung to him again. "Why did you push me? Do you hate me? Am I that unlikable? Are you mocking me for being an old maid?"
Leon felt a pang of guilt. His words had clearly hurt her.
She kept muttering, but he couldn't make out the words, just sensing her deep pain.
Looking at her, he felt both pity and guilt. Almost without thinking, he leaned down and kissed her.
Isabella, feeling the kiss, furrowed her brows and opened her eyes a bit, seeing his face.
She stared at him, making him blush.
He knew it was wrong to take advantage of her while she was drunk.
So, he started to apologize. "I'm sorry."
But before he could finish, Isabella kissed him back, cutting him off.
Leon was stunned and tried to push her away.
But Isabella clung to Leon's neck, pressing her cheek against his, making it hard for him to breathe.
Even though Leon had had quite a bit to drink, he was still clear-headed. He didn't dare move, his body stiff, while Isabella's gentle kisses made his heart race.
After the kiss, Isabella hugged him tightly, murmuring, "Don't go, I'm scared!"
Leon furrowed his brows, then wrapped his arms around her, whispering, "I won't go, I'll stay here with you."
"Okay." Hearing this, Isabella smiled slightly and closed her eyes.
Unable to resist, Leon lowered his head and kissed her cheek, then her earlobe, and finally, his lips reached her neck.
Feeling his passion, Isabella tilted her head back, hooked her arms around his shoulders, and responded unconsciously.
At that moment, Leon couldn't control his impulses and turned over, pressing her beneath him.
The night deepened, the room's temperature rose, and the soft moonlight illuminated the entwined couple.
The next morning, golden sunlight filtered through the window, casting a delicate light on the bed.
On the bed lay a handsome man, with a woman with bare shoulders and disheveled hair nestled in his arms. They were still asleep, holding each other.
The chirping of birds outside the window woke Isabella first.
She felt sore all over, her head pounding, and a burning pain in her private area. She groaned, turned over, and slowly opened her sleepy eyes.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw a man with bare shoulders, and she was lying in his arms.
When she realized the man was Leon, she opened her mouth in shock and screamed.
Leon, who was sleeping soundly, was startled awake by the scream and sat up abruptly.
Seeing Isabella curled up at the head of the bed, looking terrified, Leon felt both guilty and panicked.
"Isabella, calm down, I..." Leon tried to explain.
Isabella shouted, "Don't come near me!"
"Okay, I won't come near, but can you listen to my explanation?" As Leon stood up, the blanket slipped down, revealing his private parts.
"You bastard." Seeing what she shouldn't have, Isabella closed her eyes and threw a pillow at him.
Realizing his mistake, Leon quickly grabbed the blanket to cover himself.
"I'm sorry!" Leon, feeling embarrassed, covered his forehead with his hand, very agitated.
Isabella turned her face away, her eyes sweeping over the messy sheets, seeing the bloodstains that were shocking to behold.
At that moment, Isabella grabbed her hair. She had had sex with Leon, and the bloodstains were evidence.
She had kept her virginity for thirty years, and now, after just one bottle of red wine, she had lost it—to Leon. The realization hit her like a ton of bricks.
Leon, who had always been her nemesis, although she had special feelings for him, she couldn't accept the fact that she had sex with him.
