Chapter 762 I've Stayed Chaste for You
"Why aren't you guys going to school yet?" Susan frowned and immediately sat up.
But she quickly realized she wasn't wearing anything and hurriedly pulled the blanket up to her armpits.
"Mommy, why are you sleeping without any underwear?" Spring suddenly lifted the blanket a bit and noticed Susan's naked body, touching her own cheek with a small finger as she spoke.
Hearing this, Susan's face blushed!
She really didn't know how to answer Spring. It was so embarrassing in front of the kids.
"Spring, don't talk nonsense. Look, Mommy's face is all blushed!" Hayden chimed in.
"Then I won't say it anymore." Spring immediately lowered her head as if she had done something wrong.
Susan covered her face with the blanket, not knowing how to end this situation, when a tall figure walked in.
"Why aren't you two having breakfast and then going to school? Why are you disturbing Mommy's sleep?" Seb stood in the middle of the room, his face stern and his tone severe.
At this moment, Hayden quickly grabbed Spring's hand. "Spring, let's go have breakfast."
"Goodbye, Mommy!" Spring waved at Susan and followed Hayden towards the door.
After they left, they were still discussing what had just happened, and Susan and Seb could hear them.
"Hayden, why doesn't Mommy wear anything to sleep?" Spring looked up at Hayden, her eyes full of curiosity.
"It’s just something adults do sometimes," Hayden replied, trying to sound knowledgeable.
"Why?" Spring was too young to understand anything.
"It’s just more comfortable sometimes," Hayden said, laughing.
"What does 'comfortable' mean?" Spring stopped, looking up at Hayden with wide eyes.
At this point, Hayden put his hands on Spring's shoulders and said to her, "Spring, you're too young to understand right now! But remember, always be comfortable with how you dress, okay? And no one should make you feel uncomfortable about it."
Hayden patiently advised Spring, speaking like an adult.
"Got it." Spring nodded cutely, even though she didn't really understand why Hayden was saying this.
"Let's go, time to eat." Hayden then took Spring's hand and walked away.
Seb and Susan heard Hayden and Spring's conversation.
Susan was mortified at this moment, hearing Hayden and Spring talk about her like that.
The next moment, Susan sneaked a glance at Seb, only to see him smiling at her.
"You're still smiling? It's all your fault, making me a laughingstock for them!" Annoyed, Susan grabbed a soft pillow and threw it at Seb!
Seb caught the pillow and then sat down in front of Susan, laughing and saying, "I’m impressed Hayden handled that so well. He’s becoming quite the responsible big brother."
"He’s getting these ideas because you’re too laid back about boundaries, setting a bad example for him! I bet he'll grow up to be a womanizer, maybe even more than you!" Susan, feeling angry, vented all her frustration on Seb.
"Can you be fair? I'm such a devoted and disciplined person. I've been faithful to you all these years, and you call me a womanizer. If Hayden turns out to be a womanizer, it's because he inherited your genes!" Seb retorted, feeling wronged.
"Weren't you the one who had close relationships with so many celebrities and models?" Susan said.
"I only had meals and attended events with them. I never touched them," Seb immediately countered.
"How do I know if you touched them or not?" Susan turned her face away, scoffing.
"My chastity is not for you to slander!" Seb defended himself.
"I'm the chaste one here!" Susan shouted.
Hearing this, Seb's expression softened, and he leaned in, saying, "Alright, let's both stay faithful to each other, okay?"
Hearing this, Susan couldn't help but smile. "That's more like it."
"Since we only have each other, how about we do some yoga again?" Seb's fingers touched Susan's skin.
Susan instinctively pulled the blanket up to her shoulders and then fell back onto the pillow. "I'm so tired, I need to keep sleeping. You go check on the kids and take them to school!"
Seeing Susan's scared expression, Seb smiled and said, "Alright, I'll take the kids to school first. You stay in bed and wait for me."
"Go on, go on!" Susan, with her back to Seb, waved him off.
Seb then left the room and gently closed the bedroom door.
Seb went to the dining room, supervised the kids' breakfast, and then personally took them to school.
The house suddenly became quiet, and the still sleepy Susan continued to sleep for several more hours.
When Susan opened her eyes again, the sun was already leaning towards the west.
Susan looked up at the clock on the wall; it was already three in the afternoon. She couldn't believe she had slept for so long.
Susan quickly put on her pajamas and, as she walked out of Hayden's bedroom, she vaguely heard someone talking in the study.
Curious, Susan turned her head and saw Mary coming over with two cups of coffee.
"Ms. Wilson, you're awake?" Mary smiled.
"Yes." Susan smiled slightly. "I slept until the afternoon. Why didn't you wake me?"
Susan felt she had slept too long.
Mary smiled and said, "Mr. Anderson instructed us not to disturb you, to let you have a good sleep."
Hearing this, Susan felt a warmth in her heart, thinking he was still very considerate.
"Mr. Anderson is always so good to you." Mary's eyes showed a hint of envy.
Susan's face inexplicably blushed, and she asked, "Who's Seb talking to in the study?"
"Oh, it's Hayden and Spring's tutor, Cecilia Thorne," Mary replied.
"Hayden and Spring's tutor?" Susan recalled that Seb had mentioned hiring a tutor for Hayden and Spring.
Seeing Susan's puzzled expression, Mary patiently explained, "Miss Thorne is also from Maple Valley and is studying in Northstar City. She's a top student at school, proficient in piano, violin, calligraphy, chess, and etiquette. So Mr. Anderson hired her to teach Hayden and Spring for three hours every Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Hayden and Spring have made great progress recently!"
