Chapter 365 You've Changed

Seb gently laid Susan down on the bed, giving it a quick once-over before smirking and whispering in her ear, "This bed's huge; we can roll around all we want."

Susan's cheeks turned pink at his words. She pushed him away, feigning annoyance. "Seriously, when did you get so cheeky?"

Seb raised an innocent eyebrow. "Just speaking the truth."

"Ugh, get away!" Susan stood up, stomping her foot.

Seb grabbed her shoulders, his eyes landing on the scarf around her neck. "Where'd you get this ugly scarf?"

Without waiting for an answer, he yanked it off and tossed it onto the bedside table.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Susan spun around to grab the scarf, but Seb pulled her into his arms.

That's when Seb noticed the red hickeys on her neck. Realization dawned, and he couldn't help but grin.

"What's so funny?" Susan glared at him, feeling embarrassed. Weren't those marks his doing?

Seb's eyes softened as he looked at the hickeys. His fingertips brushed over them gently, like a feather, making Susan's skin tingle.

She squirmed from the ticklish sensation, and Seb finally pulled his hand back, leaning in to whisper in her ear, "Sorry I hurt you last night."

Susan's heart melted at his gentle apology. She bit her lip and looked down shyly.

But then he added, "So tonight, I'll be gentler."

Susan's head snapped up, anger flashing in her eyes. "You better behave tonight!"

Her warning didn't faze Seb. He reached behind her, and with a quick tug, unzipped her dress, revealing a lot of skin.

Feeling the cool air on her back, Susan reached for her dress, but Seb was quicker.

In the next moment, her leopard-print lingerie was on full display. She scrambled onto the bed, pulling a blanket over herself.

"Seb, stop being a perv!" she yelled, clutching the blanket tightly.

"You're the mother of my kids. Making love isn't pervy, it's natural," Seb said, unbuttoning his shirt.

Susan knew that coming back with Seb meant they were definitely going to make love, but why did she feel a bit excited about it now?

As Seb's shirt slid off, revealing his chiseled chest, Susan remembered his performance last night, and her body reacted.

Why was she craving him now? She clutched the blanket tighter and even swallowed hard.

Just as Seb leaned in, about to climb onto the bed, Susan called out, "Stop!"

"What, you wanna admire my muscles a bit more?" Seb paused, flexing his arm muscles with a grin.

Susan rolled her eyes and shot back, "If I wanna see muscles, I can just watch TV. Those guys look way better than you."

"Yeah, but you can't touch 'em," Seb shot back, his eyes gleaming.

"Why's your mouth so slick now?" Susan grabbed a pillow and chucked it at him.

Seb caught the pillow and hugged it like a kid. "So, when can I get on the bed?"

Susan lifted her chin. "Didn't I say? I got questions. Answer 'em honestly, or no bed for you tonight."

"I'll be straight with you, but can you hurry up?" Seb said, all cooperative.

"Ever held Linda's hand?" Susan asked, staring him down.

Seb frowned at the question.

"No thinking, just answer," Susan demanded.

"Yeah," Seb nodded.

Susan's chest tightened. She knew they had held hands, but it still stung.

"Ever kissed Linda?" Susan pressed on.

"Yeah," Seb answered without hesitation.

Susan was stunned, sadness washing over her. She knew about their ambiguous moments, but hearing it still hurt.

Seeing her silence, Seb bent down, pinched her chin, and smiled. "It was just her forehead."

Susan frowned. "Seb, where else do you wanna kiss her?"

Seeing her really mad, Seb got serious. "Susan, I don't wanna lie. I felt guilty towards Linda. When we were in Azure Haven, we cleared things up. To comfort her, I hugged her and kissed her forehead."

Susan looked up, meeting Seb's deep gaze.

Seb's eyes were sincere, and she could see it. She knew about his and Linda's situation, but jealousy was a tough beast.

Seeing her quiet, Seb looked up at the ceiling. "I, Seb, swear that from now on, I won't kiss any woman but Susan. If I break this oath, I will..."

Susan frowned, then got up and covered his mouth. "What nonsense are you spouting?"

Seb's eyes were full of love as he looked at her, holding the blanket with one hand and covering his mouth with the other.

"I knew you care about me," Seb grinned.

"Still talking?" Susan's brows furrowed, clearly nervous.

"No," Seb said, obediently closing his mouth.

Susan's hand felt the heat from his lips. She looked up and saw the intense desire in Seb's eyes.
