But Seb suddenly snatched the peeled apple and the fruit knife from Susan's hands!

Seb ignored Susan and handed the apple and knife to Mary, instructing, "Mary, you feed Spring the apple."
"Oh, okay." Mary frowned slightly but took the apple and knife from Seb.
The next moment, Seb suddenly grabbed Susan's wrist and started pulling her towards the door.
"What are you doing?" Susan was confused and tried to struggle, but Seb's grip was strong.
Seeing Seb dragging Susan out, Spring immediately sat up in bed and shouted, "Daddy, where are you taking Mommy?"
Hearing Spring's voice, Seb stopped, and Susan quickly smiled at Spring, saying, "Spring, be good. I have something to discuss with your daddy. I'll be back soon."
Hearing this, Spring's big, watery eyes filled with tears. "You're lying. You're not coming back!"
"I will definitely come back." Seeing Spring about to cry, Susan's heart tightened.
Seeing Spring's sad expression, Seb immediately let go of Susan's hand and softened his tone, "Why are you crying? I'm just taking your mommy out for a little while. She'll be back soon."
"Really?" Spring's big eyes looked innocently at Seb.
"When have I ever lied to you?" Seb said gently.
Hearing this, Spring finally felt reassured and turned to Mary, saying, "I want to eat the apple."
"Yes, darling, eat it." Mary, who had been in a daze, quickly cut a small piece of apple and put it in Spring's mouth.
Seeing that Spring had calmed down, Seb took Susan's hand and walked out of the ward.
As soon as they stepped into the hallway, Susan angrily shook off Seb's hand, turned to him, and scolded, "Why did you drag me out? You scared Spring."
Seb turned to look in the direction of the ward, then deliberately lowered his voice. "Don't think you can act all high and mighty just because you have Spring as a shield."
