Chapter 799 Teach Her a Good Lesson

Seeing Susan looking like a mess, Seb's face couldn't have been more annoyed.

Noticing his expression, Susan quickly looked down.

But it wasn't her fault; she kept ringing the doorbell, and no one came to open the door. She had been waiting outside for over half an hour.

"What the hell are you trying to do?" Seb snapped after putting Susan down.

"I rang the doorbell, but no one came to open the door." Susan's face turned a bit red when she saw the two guys standing behind Seb. Climbing over the gate was definitely embarrassing.

"No one opened the door, so you climbed over it? Do you know that's considered illegal entry? The people inside could have shot you, and it would have been legal. Do you have a death wish?" Seb's anger flared up uncontrollably.

"I..." Susan was at a loss for words, feeling extremely wronged inside.

She had come to bring him medicine, worried that he would suffer without it, which was why she had climbed over the gate in a panic.

But hearing Seb's words, Susan did feel a bit scared.

Still, did he have to be so harsh? Couldn't he talk things over calmly? Did he have to be so confrontational, especially in front of others, leaving her no dignity?

"I've never seen a woman as stupid as you!" Seb said furiously.

At this point, Susan couldn't hold back anymore and started arguing with Seb, "I've always been stupid, and you didn't just find out today! And don't forget, we're no longer married. You have no right to scold me for anything!"

Susan's defiance left Seb stunned, especially in front of his two friends, making his face even darker.

But Susan wasn't done yet. She continued pointing at Seb and said, "And aren't you supposed to have a stomachache? Why do you look perfectly fine to me? I think you're just making a fuss over nothing!"

At this moment, the farm owner, Manuel, had already called a few security guards out from the warm security booth.

Seeing Seb and Susan arguing, he quickly tried to diffuse the situation and scolded the security guards, "What's wrong with you guys? Didn't you hear someone ringing the doorbell outside? Why didn't anyone go to open the door? If someone came to steal something, what's the point of having you security guards around?"

"Mr. Barnett, the snow is really heavy today, and it's getting dark. We thought no one would come," one of the security guards explained.

The other two security guards saw Susan's coat and wallet thrown in the snow outside the gate and quickly opened the gate to retrieve them.

At this moment, Seb and Susan were staring at each other angrily.

The snow was still falling, and Seb frowned.

He noticed that Susan was only wearing a thin sweater and was shivering.

Seeing this, he looked at Hugo, who was standing beside him, holding his black cashmere coat.

The next moment, he grabbed the coat from Hugo and wrapped it around Susan!

Feeling the cold wind blocked out, Susan still felt very wronged. She threw Seb's coat back at him, then took her own coat from the security guard and put it on.

"I have my own coat. Who wants yours!" Susan snapped, glaring at Seb before turning to leave.

Seeing this, Seb reached out and grabbed her arm. "Where are you going?" he asked, frowning.

"Home!" Susan shot back, her voice full of anger.

Seb, surprisingly patient, said, "It's dark, and the snow is heavy. It's not safe out there."

"None of your business!" Susan retorted, still trying to pull away.

But Seb didn't let go, so she couldn't move an inch.

The next moment, Seb stepped forward, bent down, and hoisted Susan onto his shoulder!

Susan was caught off guard. Her stomach pressed against his shoulder, and her head hung down, making her feel extremely uncomfortable.

She pounded Seb's back with her fists, shouting, "Put me down, do you hear me?"

Manuel, standing nearby, looked a bit dumbfounded.

Seb glanced at Manuel and said, "I need to teach my woman a lesson. I won't be joining you tonight."

With that, Seb carried Susan towards the villa.

Manuel frowned and said, "This woman is really something else."

Hugo laughed, "A woman who can win Seb over can't be ordinary."

Watching Seb carry Susan away, Manuel shook his head. "I wonder who's teaching whom a lesson."

"Good point!" Hugo laughed heartily, pointing at Manuel.

Seb carried Susan to a guest room on the second floor.

After entering the room, Seb threw Susan onto the soft bed, then walked to the door, closed it, and locked it.

Thrown onto the bed, Susan felt dizzy and took a while to sit up. She pointed at Seb and cursed, "Do you know how much my head hurts because of you? Either you don't come home for days, or you bully me as soon as you see me!"

As she cursed, Susan threw all the soft pillows on the bed at Seb, who was standing in the middle of the room.

The pillows hit Seb one by one and then fell to the floor.

Seb's face grew darker, and his cold eyes stared at Susan. He suddenly shouted, "Have you had enough?"

This shout immediately made Susan shut up and stop throwing things at him.

His roar was quite intimidating, and Susan felt really scared and a bit timid.

However, Susan still mustered the courage to say, "What? You said you had a stomachache, and I braved the heavy snow to bring you medicine. Was I wrong?"

With that, Susan took out a bottle of stomach medicine from her coat pocket and threw it on the bed, pouting and feeling very wronged.

Seb saw Susan's aggrieved expression, and his face softened a bit.

Then, Seb's eyes fell on the bottle of stomach medicine on the bed.

The next moment, Seb frowned and asked, "Who told you I had a stomachache?"

"Kathy. Didn't you call Kathy and say you had a stomachache and asked her to bring you medicine?" Susan asked, puzzled.

Seeing Seb's expression, Susan couldn't help but feel suspicious.

Susan quietly observed him. He didn't look like he was in any pain. When his stomach acted up, he wouldn't be this arrogant; he'd be lying in bed, unable to get up.
