Chapter 621 Humiliation

Susan originally thought that if he misunderstood, so be it. After all, they were already divorced, and it didn't matter if he gave up on her. But she never expected him to retaliate against George like this.

At this moment, Susan naturally regretted it. She shouldn't have caused so much trouble for George. But explaining now seemed futile. Besides, Seb was blinded by jealousy, he wouldn't believe her. Her only option was to appeal to his sense of decency.

Then, Susan said to Seb, "No matter what you think, George and I can never be together, so stop targeting him. After all, you two are cousins! What you're doing is wrong, Seb. It's not who you are."

Hearing this, Seb took a couple of drags from his cigarette and asked, "You mean to say I'm despicable, right? You're pleading with me for his sake, which shows how special George is to you."

"Even when I was with you, I never denied that I had a special feeling for George. That feeling is gratitude, appreciation, and being moved because whenever I was in trouble, he would come to my side, help me, and comfort me. There were several times when, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't even know if I'd still be alive. So the feelings between George and me are something you can't understand. Yes, George has always liked me and tried to make me accept him, but I don't have romantic feelings for him. I don't want to hide this from you or him. During our marriage, he never acted inappropriately. So please stop targeting him, cease all retaliatory actions against him, and immediately clear his name from the false accusations!" Susan said righteously, looking at Seb.

Hearing this, Seb slowly stood up from the sofa and walked over to Susan.

She met his gaze fearlessly. The next moment, Seb grabbed her shoulders and questioned, "What do you mean by 'no inappropriate behavior during our marriage'? Are you saying that after our divorce, you did have inappropriate behavior with him?"

Susan lowered her eyelids and then said, "Seb, we have no relationship now. I don't think I need to explain to you who I might be involved with after our divorce."

Susan's words were reasonable, leaving Seb with no rebuttal. He frowned, released her shoulders, turned his back to her, and said coldly, "In that case, you have no reason to ask me to do anything. I'm very busy, you should leave!"

Susan anxiously said, "Seb, I'm begging you, please let George go, okay?"

Seb, with his back to Susan, laughed.

Susan frowned, staring at his back.

The next moment, Seb suddenly turned around, full of anger, and said, "You call him so affectionately. When something happens to him, you get so nervous. For his sake, you come to plead with me. Didn't you say we shouldn't see each other anymore? Even when you visit Hayden and Spring, you ask Kathy if I'm home first. Where are your principles, Susan? Why do they vanish when it comes to him? You say you have a special feeling for him. Does that mean your heart was always with him, even when you were with me? Maybe if it weren't for the children, you would have chosen him all those years ago."

Seb stepped closer to Susan, his expression growing more ferocious, his cold eyes seemingly wanting to devour her.

Susan stepped back until her lower back hit the desk, causing her to frown in pain.

"These are all your assumptions, and there's no 'if' in this world. Probing into this is useless!" Susan said quickly.

She had to admit that his height was intimidating, especially with his cold eyes and angry expression, which made her fearful.

She knew she had completely angered him and didn't know what extreme actions he might take.

But even so, Susan still didn't intend to explain clearly because she knew that if he found out the child she miscarried was his, he wouldn't let her go. They would be painfully entangled again. She didn't want to endure the pain of losing him again, nor did she want him to live forever in guilt towards Carol.

So, she just stared at him, even though her heart was racing.

Seb grabbed Susan's chin with some force, causing her to frown, but she didn't struggle or beg for mercy. Instead, she met his gaze.

"Tell me, was that child George's?" Seb questioned.

Susan didn't speak and lowered her eyelids.

"Tell me!" Seb roared when he saw her remain silent.

His roar almost lifted the roof, causing Susan's shoulders to tremble.

"I have no obligation to answer that question," Susan said, staring at him fearlessly.

In fact, her fearless expression was all an act. His eyes were so terrifying; how could she not be afraid?

Susan's reaction infuriated Seb. He narrowed his eyes and pulled her into his arms, holding her face with both hands, filled with jealousy, and asked, "Did he hold you? Kiss you? Did you sleep with him? Tell me! What makes him better than me? Why did your heart completely lean towards him in just a few days? Huh?"

The more Seb spoke, the more agitated he became. Susan felt uncomfortable being squeezed by him and tried to push him away, but he wouldn't let go.

Moreover, the more she struggled, the angrier he became. Susan pushed him several times but couldn't move him at all.

Then, Seb suddenly lowered his head and kissed Susan.

When he kissed her, Susan's whole body trembled!

If Susan was a bit disoriented when he first kissed her, what he did next made her feel humiliated.

Seb's kiss was punishing, rough, and devoid of any affection.

Susan was extremely ashamed and angry. She frowned and hadn't had time to push him away when he leaned forward, trying to pin her down on the desk behind her, which was as big as a bed!
