Chapter 675 I Don't Like Waiting
She was extremely passionate today, leaving Seb somewhat bewildered.
She kissed him, her hands eagerly unbuttoning his shirt, her eyes both dreamy and anxious.
With the soft music, dim lighting, and the faint scent of flowers, Seb, already tipsy, couldn't resist her passion at that moment.
The next moment, he bent down, scooped her up, and hurriedly turned towards the bedroom.
In the early morning, the white light from outside filtered through the curtains, filling the room with an ambiguous atmosphere.
Seb's clothes and Susan's nightgown were scattered on the floor. They lay asleep on the bed, their bodies covered by a blanket, snuggled together. Susan's hair was spread out on the pillow, and the sheets were in disarray, indicating the intensity of the previous night.
Susan's whole body ached and felt weak, even in her sleep, she felt like she had done a full day's physical labor.
While she was still in a deep sleep, dreaming, she suddenly felt herself being lifted, and a deafening shout rang in her ears!
"Susan, wake up!"
Susan was exhausted and sleepy, her shoulder throbbing with pain, forcing her to open her drowsy eyes.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Seb, looking furious, pinning her to the headboard with his hands!
"What are you doing?" Susan, still not fully awake, rubbed her eyes and said.
Seb, still furious, grabbed Susan's arm with one hand and held a pillbox in front of her face with the other. "Did you take this last night?"
Susan focused on the pillbox in Seb's hand and frowned.
She had bought this box of pills at the pharmacy yesterday. She remembered the pharmacist giving her a curious look, but since they didn't know each other, she just bought it and left.
She couldn't bring herself to flatter or seduce Seb, she'd rather die. But she wanted to see Spring and Hayden, so she had no choice but to resort to medication.
So she went to the pharmacy and asked. Sure enough, they had aphrodisiacs for women, so she bought a box.
Susan carefully read the instructions, which said the medication would take effect fifteen minutes after ingestion. So, fifteen minutes before ten o'clock, she took the pill.
Sure enough, by ten o'clock, Susan's body reacted. When she saw Seb, she couldn't control herself, nor did she want to. Under the dual influence of the drug and her emotions, she completely gave in last night!
But she had thrown the pillbox into the trash last night. How did he find it?
While she was still puzzled, Seb tightened his grip on her wrist. "I'm asking you a question!"
The next moment, Susan calmly replied, "Yes, I took it. So what?"
Her defiance only fueled his anger. "I told you to entertain me," he spat, his eyes blazing. "And you resort to this?"
"What did you expect?" Susan shot back, her own anger flaring. "Did you want me to throw myself at you, beg for your attention like… like Esme?"
Seb was furious. He had used every means to force her to submit, intending to humiliate her, but in the end, he felt humiliated himself. She had used this drug to brush him off!
Seb wanted to explode in anger, but then he suddenly held back, a cold smile forming on his lips. "Too bad, even with the drug, you're not one percent as seductive as Esme!"
With that, he let go of Susan's hand.
Hearing this, Susan's shoulders trembled.
Her eyes stared intently at Seb as he got out of bed and started dressing.
He and that Esme must have been quite intense, right? He compared her to Esme, treating her like a piece of clothing—wearing it when he liked, discarding it when he didn't.
Susan felt deeply hurt, her face twitching, on the verge of tears but unable to cry.
He dressed calmly by the bed, not even glancing at Susan.
Once Seb was fully dressed, he glanced at Susan. "Don't worry, I'll keep my promise. Spring is in the hospital, starting an IV at nine this morning. I'll wash up, and you better be dressed in three minutes. I don't like waiting."
Hearing this, Susan tensed up. "You said Spring is hospitalized? What's wrong with her?"
"Pneumonia from a cold." With that, Seb turned and walked into the bathroom.
Hearing this, Susan sprang out of bed, quickly grabbed some clothes from the closet, and put them on. She quickly tidied her hair, grabbed her purse and phone.
Three minutes later, Seb came out of the bathroom to see Susan, in a beige trench coat, changing her shoes at the door.
Seeing this, Seb smirked and walked straight out the door.
Seb strode out of the elevator, heading directly out of the complex, with Susan in high heels chasing after him.
He walked so fast, never looking back at her, let alone waiting for her.
At one point, Susan nearly twisted her ankle.
Glancing at her high heels, Susan frowned. She had rushed out earlier and grabbed the first pair of shoes she could find. Now, her feet were paying the price.
Outside the complex, Seb's black luxury car was already parked by the street.
Seb walked straight to the car and got in.
Seconds later, Susan wobbled over in her high heels.
Leon saw Susan coming and reached out to open the door for her.
Susan frowned and said, "I'll sit in the front."
Hearing this, Leon glanced at the back door, understanding their strained relationship, and opened the front passenger door.
"Thank you," Susan said, getting into the front seat.
As soon as Leon sat in the driver's seat, Seb's voice came from the back. "Leon, your year-end bonus is halved!"
Hearing this, Leon was stunned, and Susan frowned.
"Yes," Leon said, realizing his mistake, but still nodded.
