Chapter 346 Flirting and Bickering

"Let go, or I'll scream! Spring's still snoozing in the crib. If you wake her up, she'll freak out!" Susan warned, her face all scrunched up. She knew she didn't have the muscle to fight back and could only use Spring as a shield.

But this time, dropping Spring's name didn't do squat. Seb was pretty hammered. He glanced at Spring, who was out cold in the crib, and said, "Spring's out like a light. She ain't waking up."

With that, Seb leaned in and planted one on Susan.

Susan's protests got swallowed right up.

During the day, Seb had wanted to taste her lips but chickened out.

Tonight, with a belly full of booze, Seb finally had the guts to do what he wanted to do earlier. When did he, Seb, turn into such a wuss?

The booze breath made Susan both mad and grossed out. But her hands were pinned, and her legs were trapped. She couldn't budge.

Seb's kiss was wild. Susan wasn't a naive girl anymore and could totally feel the sexual tension in Seb's kiss.

Susan's heart raced with panic. Seb wouldn't try to get it on with her, would he?

But as the kiss dragged on for a minute, Seb didn't make any other moves. Susan let out a sigh of relief, thinking Seb wouldn't push it.

Sure enough, Seb's kiss then turned super gentle, and his grip on her wrists loosened a bit.

Susan couldn't remember the last time Seb was this gentle. Maybe it had been ages since she felt a man's touch, and her body started to melt.

She didn't know how long it had been when Seb suddenly broke the kiss.

Susan immediately gasped for air, taking in big gulps of fresh oxygen.

Seb looked pretty pleased with this kiss, his drunken eyes all hazy and glowing.

At that moment, Susan caught a whiff of perfume. She could tell it was from Seb.

This wasn't some dude's cologne. It had a strong rose scent, probably some fancy stuff, 'cause even though it was strong, it wasn't overpowering and actually smelled kinda nice.

Seb came back so late tonight; it seemed he had been out with some hottie. If he had been on a date, why did he come back and still try to mess with her?

Thinking of this, Susan, who had just been lost in Seb's kiss, got pissed and shoved Seb to the side!

Seb quickly propped himself up with his arm, frowning as he said, "You were just into it, and now you push me away so fast? You're colder than a dude!"

Hearing this, Susan was fuming. She immediately put her hands on her hips and said, "Who was into it? You were totally forcing me. You're not a man; you're just a beast!"

Susan's comeback left Seb speechless.

Then, Susan caught another whiff of that rose perfume. Suddenly, it hit her—Linda wore that same scent. No wonder it seemed familiar but she couldn't place it just now.

Susan's eyes narrowed as she glared at Seb with disdain. "Seb, did you go on a date with Linda?"

Seb looked like a deer caught in headlights.

Seeing his reaction, Susan knew she nailed it. She bit her lower lip, clenched her fists, and snapped, "You and Linda, huh? Perfect match. But after a date with her, you come to mess with me? That's low, Seb. What do you take us women for?"

If Seb had felt a twinge of guilt when Susan called him out, her words now made him furious.

"Have you said enough?" Seb growled.

"No!" Susan shouted back. "I'm telling you; I'm not the pushover you think I am. Just 'cause we have two kids together, just 'cause I'm broke, homeless, and might end up in jail, doesn't mean I'll bow down to you. So, keep dreaming!"

With that, Susan turned to leave.

But as she reached the door, she realized this was her room. She quickly turned back, grabbed Seb, and shoved him out. "Get out!"

"This is my house, you know?" Seb, still drunk, was wobbling as he walked.

"You lent me this room to stay in. You can't just take it back!" With that, Susan pushed Seb out the door, slammed it shut, and locked it.

Leaning against the door, Susan didn't know where she got the guts. This was Seb's house. If he kicked her out, she'd have nowhere to go. If she went back and got caught by those gangsters, she might not make it.

But she was just so mad. In the afternoon, Seb's eyes were all over her, yet he went on a date with Linda.

And Seb's body reeked of perfume. Did he and Linda hug and kiss to get that much scent on him?

No, hugging and kissing wouldn't leave that much perfume. Did they have sex?

Thinking of this made Susan feel like she was losing it.

Seb had just been with Linda and now came to her. Either Seb had a crazy libido or he used too many drugs.

After a while, Seb's helpless voice came from outside. "You're really not fair."

"So what?" Susan shouted at the door, still fuming.

After a moment of silence, she heard laughter from outside. "I guess I'm just a masochist. I like you, this unfair woman!"

Hearing this, Susan was stunned. Then she said to the door, "You like too many people. I'm old news; the one you like now is Linda!"

"I approached Linda for you. I'd give up everything for you. I even seduced a woman for you, but you don't appreciate it at all." The person outside rambled on, sounding nothing like the usual Seb.

Susan grew impatient and didn't want to deal with Seb anymore. She stopped talking and turned off the light.

Once the light was off, Seb also stopped talking.
