Seeing the joy in Skylar's eyes, Cecilia smiled faintly and said, "You're a lucky woman. You'll definitely be happy for life."
Skylar was indeed lucky, born into a wealthy family, with sweet looks and a gentle personality. Wherever she went, she was the center of attention. She and Daryl made a perfect couple, even Cecilia thought they were well-matched.
"Thank you. You're so beautiful; you'll definitely find a good match in the future," Skylar said with a smile.
"Thanks for your kind words." Cecilia smiled, but she thought to herself, It's pity the good match has already been taken by you.'
At this moment, Skylar made a phone call.
"Daryl?" Hearing Skylar's words, Cecilia's eyebrows twitched, and she quickly lowered her head, afraid to show any emotion on her face.
"Daryl, I'm at Aurora Café on Maple Avenue. I can't walk anymore. Can you come pick me up? Okay." After a few words, Skylar hung up.
Then, Skylar looked up and said, "Cecilia, Daryl will come to pick us up in a bit."
At this moment, Cecilia quickly said, "Since Mr. Fields is coming to pick you up, I'll leave first."
Just as Cecilia was about to get up, Skylar grabbed her wrist and frowned. "Come with us!"
"No need, I'll just take the bus." Cecilia definitely didn't want to run into Daryl because it would be very awkward, and she couldn't keep up the act.
However, Skylar wouldn't let go of Cecilia. "Daryl is coming, he can treat us to a big meal. You've been shopping with me until your legs are sore. How can I not treat you to a meal?"

"Okay." Cecilia smiled, nodded, and then got up and left the café.
Just as she walked out of the café, a car pulled up in front of it, startling Cecilia.
Looking up, she saw a familiar car and was stunned. 'Didn't Skylar just make the call a few minutes ago? How does Daryl get here so quickly?'
The next moment, Douglas got out of the car. Seeing Cecilia standing there, Douglas frowned. "Ms. Thorne?"
"Well, I..." Cecilia was about to explain but didn't know where to start.
At this moment, the back door of the car opened, and a tall figure stepped out.
Seeing Daryl, Cecilia was exasperated. She had been trying to avoid him, but still couldn't.
Seeing Cecilia, Daryl frowned and asked, "What are you doing here?"
Daryl glanced at the café behind Cecilia and then back at her.

Daryl then walked over to Skylar.

"Skylar, you bought so many things." Daryl glanced at the bags Douglas was carrying.
Skylar smiled. "Daryl, I bought clothes for you and your parents. You must wear the clothes I bought for you!"
Skylar said as she stepped forward and hugged Daryl's arm, looking like she was being coy.
"Don't always think about me. You should buy some things for yourself too," Daryl looked down at Skylar and said.
"I bought several things for myself. I wanted to buy a couple of items for Cecilia too, but she wouldn't take them." At this moment, Skylar looked at Cecilia.
Daryl's eyes followed Skylar's gaze to Cecilia.
Cecilia felt very uncomfortable and said, "I have clothes, thank you, Skylar."
"If Ms. Thorne doesn't like it, don't force her," Daryl withdrew his gaze and looked at Skylar.
"By the way, Daryl, how did you get here so quickly?" Skylar asked with a smile.
"I happened to be nearby on business," Daryl replied.
"Well, I thought you grew wings and flew over," Skylar joked playfully.

She then smiled and said, "Skylar, you guys chat. I'll head back now."
Hearing this, Daryl's gaze fell back on Cecilia.

"Cecilia, Daryl is already here. Let us give you a ride back," Skylar said kindly.
"No need, the bus here is very convenient. I'll go now!" Cecilia didn't want to argue with Skylar anymore, so she said this and turned to leave.
Watching Cecilia's departing figure, Skylar said, "Daryl, I feel like Cecilia doesn't like me very much."
"Why?" Daryl frowned and asked.
"I feel like she's always distant with me," Skylar said, troubled.

Then, Daryl glanced at Douglas and said, "I'll drive. Don't you have something to do?"
"Right, Mr. Fields, Ms. Tate, I'll be off then." After exchanging a glance with Daryl, Douglas quickly handed the car keys to Daryl and then left.
Daryl then sat in the driver's seat, and Skylar sat in the passenger seat.
