Chapter 774 Taking Off Clothes
Hearing this, the corner of Susan's mouth twitched.
Cecilia finally revealed her true feelings. This was a direct confession.
At this moment, Seb's voice came through the crack in the door. "Cecilia, as you said, we haven't known each other for long. You just have a crush on me. Please, you need to let this go because I have a family."
Hearing this, Susan felt a wave of relief.
He said that he had a family, and that she, along with Hayden and Spring, were his family.
Even though they no longer had a marriage certificate, he still considered her his wife.
Through the crack in the door, Susan saw Cecilia jump off the bed barefoot and throw herself into Seb's arms!
Seb probably didn't expect this. Looking down at Cecilia, who was hugging his waist and pressing her face against his chest, his hands froze in mid-air!
"Cecilia, let go of me right now!" Seb warned.
"No! I won't." Cecilia stubbornly shouted.
Seeing this, Susan became anxious!
But it would be awkward to barge in now. She hoped Seb could handle it himself.
The next moment, Cecilia, visibly emotional, exclaimed, "You say you have a family, but you and Hayden's mom have long been divorced, haven't you?"
"Seems like you know a lot about me?" Seb's eyes had turned cold.
Noticing his displeasure, Cecilia explained, "I love you, so naturally, I'm interested in your life."
"If you really understood my life, then you'd know I've only ever loved Susan. No one else. And I'm not planning to change that," Seb declared firmly.
"But you and she can never be together!" Cecilia blurted out.
"What else do you know?" Seb looked down at Cecilia, who was hugging him, and questioned.
Cecilia was a bit scared of his gaze but still mustered the courage to say, "I heard that your mother was driven to her grave by Susan, and her dying wish was for you to divorce."
Hearing this, Susan's heart tightened!
Then, she turned and leaned against the wall.
Cecilia had indeed come prepared. She even found out about this. It seemed Susan had underestimated her.
However, Cecilia was still a bit immature, showing too much hostility towards her, which had alerted her early on. Otherwise, she would still be unaware of Cecilia's intentions.
Cecilia's words hit her weak spot, and Susan felt her legs go weak.
"Enough!" Suddenly, an angry shout came from the crack in the door.
Susan's heart trembled inexplicably.
Cecilia was so scared that she immediately let go of Seb's waist and looked at him tremblingly.
"Cecilia, don't forget your place. You're just a tutor for our family. You have no right to discuss our family's affairs!" Seb's eyes were filled with coldness.
If he had been polite to Cecilia earlier, now his eyes were full of disgust for her.
"I'm sorry, I spoke out of turn. Please don't be angry, okay? I know I shouldn't have brought this up, but just because I don't mention it doesn't mean it doesn't exist, right?" Cecilia apologized humbly, her eyes constantly observing his expression.
"You don't need to test me. I can tell you clearly that the reason Susan and I divorced was because of my mother's dying wish. I have a clear conscience regarding my mother because I fulfilled her last wish, but what I can't do is stop loving Susan!" Seb said coldly and then turned to leave.
Cecilia turned and hugged Seb's waist from behind, urgently saying, "I know it's my fault. I shouldn't have brought up things that make you sad! But you and Susan have no future. Don't you have any feelings for me at all?"
"Cecilia, you're overestimating yourself." Seb's mouth twitched into a cold smile.
"No, I don't believe it. You must have some feelings for me. Look at me, how am I any worse than your ex-wife!" Cecilia turned to face Seb, her eyes filled with sadness as she looked at him.
Seb's eyes scanned Cecilia, and she confidently straightened her back, raising her chin.
Her delicate face glowed like jade under the light, and her slender waist and perky hips outlined a perfect body curve.
The blue and white hospital gown couldn't hide her beauty. She smiled confidently.
Cecilia's fingers touched the buttons of her shirt, and with nimble fingers, she unbuttoned her shirt.
"What are you doing?" Seb's brows furrowed.
Cecilia ignored his words and took off her shirt, revealing her skin.
Through the crack in the door, Susan saw her back. The black bra accentuated her perfect figure.
Cecilia was terrifying. Failing to seduce him, she resorted to stripping in front of Seb. Susan really didn't know what to say about today's girls.
Cecilia then took two steps forward, reaching out to touch Seb's chest.
Unexpectedly, Seb immediately took a step back, turned his face away, and said, "I just made a decision."
"What decision? Did you admit you have feelings for me?" Cecilia's face lit up with joy.
Seb looked at the wall and sneered, "Before, I thought you were just overconfident. Now, I see you lack boundaries. Your actions today show a disregard for both yourself and others. I can't have someone with such poor judgement around my children."
"You're rejecting me—that's your right. But why demean me?" Cecilia's voice broke as she quickly redressed.
Through the crack in the door, Susan saw Cecilia putting on her clothes and couldn't help but smile.
Seb had strong self-control. It seemed she had worried for nothing today.
Then, Susan quietly turned and left the ward.
