Chapter 1264 Cannot Drain Your Energy
The next moment, Daryl and Cecilia tumbled onto the soft, plush bed together!
Cecilia screamed as they rolled over each other several times on the bed.
Finally, they stopped with Cecilia on top and Daryl underneath.
After a few rolls, Cecilia's earlier gloom vanished, and she brightened up completely.
Cecilia wrapped her arms around Daryl's neck and laughed, "Daryl, thanks for everything you've done for me and my family."
Hearing this, Daryl gazed at Cecilia and then kissed her cheek. "I'm your husband; it's what I'm supposed to do."
Cecilia smiled and looked down.
Under the bright chandelier, Daryl stared at her face, his fingers brushing over her smooth skin. His throat moved noticeably. "Aren't you tired? Let me give you a massage."
With that, Daryl's hands began to knead and rub Cecilia's skin.
Cecilia squirmed and shrank her neck, laughing, "Stop it. It tickles."
Soon, the two were playfully wrestling on the bed, filling the room with laughter.
After their playful tussle, their positions switched, with Daryl on top and Cecilia underneath.
Breathless, Cecilia hooked her arms around Daryl's neck. Their eyes met, filled with tender affection.
"Not tired anymore?" Daryl asked, looking down at Cecilia with a seductive gaze.
Cecilia bit her lip and blushed.
"Not answering means you agree?" Daryl whispered in her ear when she didn't respond.
Cecilia pushed against his chest. "You definitely have bad intentions."
Before she could finish her sentence, Daryl had already sealed her lips with his.
His hands intertwined with hers on the red embroidered sheets, giving her a passionate and wild kiss.
Soon, Cecilia was left dizzy from the kiss, her body going limp.
Unconsciously, Cecilia's arms wrapped around Daryl's neck, and her shoes slipped off her feet onto the floor.
The intense kiss between Daryl and Cecilia was abruptly interrupted by the sound of the door opening.
They turned to see Azalea standing at the door!
Cecilia's mind went blank, and she quickly pushed Daryl away, sitting on the edge of the bed, nervously fixing her hair, her face burning.
Daryl stood by the bed, scratching the back of his head. "Mom, it's so late. Why aren't you resting?"
Azalea walked in with a stern expression.
Seeing this, Cecilia quickly stood up, her head bowed, not daring to look Azalea in the eye.
It was their wedding night. Why was Azalea barging into their bedroom so late without knocking? Thankfully, they hadn't been caught in a more compromising position. Cecilia felt like she could die of embarrassment.
Azalea glanced at Cecilia and then at her son. "You're leaving for your honeymoon tomorrow, and I wanted to give you some reminders."
"Mom, we're adults. We'll be careful," Daryl said with a forced smile.
Azalea replied, "You're a man, and men can be careless. Many things need a woman's touch."
Cecilia looked up at Azalea, sensing that she had something to say to her.
Sure enough, Azalea turned to Cecilia with a stern face. "Cecilia, now that you're part of the Fields family, I need to tell you some of our family rules."
"Mom, I'm all ears," Cecilia said respectfully.
Azalea seemed satisfied with Cecilia's attitude and nodded. "Daryl is busy with work. As his wife, you need to take care of his daily needs. His stomach is sensitive, so make sure he doesn't eat cold food. The weather is getting colder, so make sure he stays warm at night..."
"Mom, I'm old enough to take care of myself," Daryl interrupted.
Azalea dismissed his comment. "If you knew everything, why did you get married? She married into our family to take care of you!"
Cecilia quickly took Daryl's hand. "Daryl, Mom is right. I should take care of you."
Though Cecilia was bothered by Azalea's condescending attitude, she remembered her mother's advice. Since she had married into the Fields family and loved Daryl, she needed to accept his family. She believed that if she respected and cared for Azalea, Azalea would eventually change her opinion of her.
Daryl looked at Cecilia with eyes full of tenderness.
But Azalea was displeased with the way Daryl looked at Cecilia.
Azalea gave her son a stern look and then turned to Cecilia. "And about your intimate life, Daryl is busy with work, so you need to be moderate. Don't always drag him into bed. A man's energy is limited, and you don't want to drain him too soon!"
"What?" Cecilia's eyes widened at Azalea's words.
When she understood what Azalea meant, her face turned bright red, and she lowered her head in shame.
Cecilia felt like dying. How could her mother-in-law say such things? She was mortified and felt wronged. It wasn't like she was always dragging Daryl to bed; it was the other way around!
Daryl's face turned pale. "Mom, what are you talking about?"
Seeing her son's impatience, Azalea said, "Alright, that's all for now. I'll tell you more another time. It's late; you should rest."
With that, Azalea turned and left the bedroom.
After Azalea left, Daryl closed the door.
Cecilia sat on the red sheets, feeling dejected.
Seeing Cecilia's silence, Daryl sighed inwardly.
He sat in front of her, holding her hand. "I'm sorry. Mom can be a bit blunt. Don't take it to heart."
Cecilia forced a smile. "I think Mom is right. I should let you rest and not drain your energy."
Daryl raised an eyebrow. "Come on, it's our wedding night!"
Seeing Daryl's exaggerated expression, Cecilia couldn't help but laugh.
