Seeing Cecilia asleep, Daryl quietly walked to the bed. When he saw that Cecilia had already opened her eyes, he chose to sit down by the bedside.

"Why are you here? You're getting married next week, shouldn't you be busy with a lot of things?" Upon hearing this, Cecilia showed no expression and said nothing, because she didn't know what to say to Daryl.

"Seraphine has also contacted me. She said she will restore your position and reputation at the magazine as soon as possible. As for the culprit, they are considering firing them. Of course, the Fields Family and the Tate Family won't let the mastermind go either. If you still want to work at Vogue Vista, I won't oppose it," Daryl said, looking at Cecilia.

"What did you say? You want me to continue working at Vogue Vista? Didn't you say you were going to send me to Aidamore?" Cecilia looked up and met Daryl's deep eyes.
Seeing Cecilia's reaction, Daryl laughed and said, "I've been talking for a while, and you had no reaction. But when you heard you could continue working at Vogue Vista, you suddenly became full of energy!"
Hearing this, Cecilia picked up a soft pillow beside her and hit Daryl with it, giving him a sideways glance. "Are you messing with me?"
Daryl, however, said very seriously, "I mean what I say."

Daryl then said, "You don't have any friends in Aidamore; life would be tough there. Since you like working, you can continue at Vogue Vista. When you're close to giving birth, I'll send you to Aidamore. But you have to promise me to keep a low profile and not have any contact with Skylar to avoid complications!"
Hearing this, Cecilia's initially joyful heart immediately sank, thinking he cared so much about Skylar that he didn't want her to know of her existence.
The next moment, Cecilia met Daryl's gaze and said, "Okay, I promise you. But you also have to agree to one condition."
"What condition?" Daryl asked, frowning.
Then, Cecilia said seriously, "The relationship between us is only because of the baby. There will be nothing between us, so please don't have any illusions about me. I will not become your mistress!"

"Skylar is a good girl; you shouldn't betray her. As for the baby in my belly, it's just an accident. I hope you can treat Skylar well. Besides, you can fulfill your duties as a father, but don't include me in your plans," Cecilia said, looking at Daryl, trying to persuade him.
Cecilia didn't want to carry too much; she couldn't bear it. Every time she faced Skylar, she felt very uncomfortable. Even if she didn't face her in the future, she couldn't get over it herself. She didn't want to become a hated homewrecker.
At this moment, Daryl's eyes sharply scrutinized Cecilia and asked, "Have you fallen for that Barry? He cleared your name this time, and now you're infatuated with him, right?"

"It's Skylar's. What should I do?" Cecilia looked up and asked Daryl.
She really didn't want to have any more interactions with Skylar. Every time she contacted Skylar, Cecilia's heart would be in turmoil.
