Chapter 103 He Deserved to Die
Dermot didn't say anything, but his grim expression said it all.
Based on his understanding of Evelyn, she would agree, and she would even take the initiative.
"See Mr. Doyle tonight. I hope you won't tip off the Barns family," Keith waved at him and then got into his car, disappearing on the spot.
Dermot watched Keith's flashy red sports car disappear and his eyes became cold. He glanced back at the floor where Evelyn was and then left.
Evelyn slept until noon, managing to make up for some of the lost sleep from last night. She got out of bed and checked her phone as a routine.
Marina had messaged her, informing her that tonight was Grandpa Doyle's birthday banquet and asked if she was coming along.
Evelyn replied to her and then checked the other messages she received.
Ruby Kite had also messaged her, saying that she couldn't make it to tonight's banquet and asked her to give Grandpa Doyle her wishes.
It seemed that ever since the Kite family nearly went bankrupt and Ruby Kite decided to work at the Kite family, she had been busy all the time, being a qualified successor.
Keith also had a message saying he would pick her up at six in the evening. Evelyn replied with a confirmation.
After going through all the messages, she got up to wash and then leisurely made herself lunch.
After finishing lunch and with some time left before six in the evening, she started searching for information related to the Barns Group.

She was engrossed in her research when her phone rang.
"Aidan." Evelyn answered, smiling warmly.
"Do you have time tonight? Accompany me to a birthday banquet," Aidan said.
No need to ask, Evelyn already knew that this birthday banquet was most likely Grandpa Doyle's. "Aidan, if you want me to accompany you to Grandpa Doyle's birthday banquet, then I might not be able to agree."
"Why?"
"I have already promised someone else." She answered without specifying who.
Because she understood Aidan's personality, if he knew she was going with Keith, he would surely nag at her and tell her to stay away from Keith.
She thought, it's just a one-time thing anyway. There's no need to let Aidan know and worry him.
Listening to her, Aidan didn't ask too much, "Alright then, I'll have Nail accompany me."
"Okay, Niall should really participate in this kind of banquet more often, so he doesn't become a shut-in." She didn't know if all computer people liked to stay at home, but Niall was like that.
Speaking of which, Aidan suddenly changed the subject, "The Barns family is more complicated to handle."
