Chapter 431 Stop Networking Here

The next day, on the seventh floor of the hotel, Evelyn was having breakfast when Greg arrived.
She looked at him and smiled, "Have you eaten?"

"Not yet." He had come to pick her up early in the morning and didn't have time for breakfast.

Evelyn gestured for him to sit and then said slowly, "No rush, we can go later."

Seeing her calm and composed, as if she had nothing to worry about, Greg was affected by her demeanor. He sat opposite her and leisurely started eating breakfast with her.

"I asked my grandfather yesterday if he would tell you everything. Guess what he said?" Greg tried to get Evelyn's attention.

Evelyn glanced at him and smiled faintly, "Since you're asking, that means Mr. Hamilton has agreed. Otherwise, you wouldn't be so relaxed."

If Mr. Hamilton didn't want to tell her, Greg would probably feel too embarrassed to meet her. How could he still have the mood to have breakfast with her?

"You're quite clever." Greg helplessly thought, to himself, that he shouldn't have let her guess.
Evelyn raised an eyebrow, not commenting on it.

The two of them ate breakfast, and after thinking for a moment, Greg spoke again, "Do you know that Lassie has returned to Colombia?"

Evelyn furrowed her brows, not understanding why Greg brought this up. She wasn't that familiar with Lassie either.

"I thought you might be interested." Greg shrugged helplessly, realizing that he had guessed wrong. Well, it seemed like he had never really understood her.

"I'm not interested." Evelyn said.

Greg didn't say anything anymore, and the two of them quietly finished breakfast before leaving the hotel and getting into Greg's car, heading towards the Hamilton family Doyal Mansion.

Evelyn was feeling, somewhat, nervous now. After all, she was about to find out the truth. No one could remain calm, as if nothing had happened. She didn't know what the truth was or if she could accept it, which intensified her nervousness.

Before long, the car arrived at the Hamilton family Doyal Mansion. In such an expensive place like Colombia, owning such a large mansion, the Hamilton family truly lived up to its reputation as one of the top ten families.

She couldn't help but wonder, what would those ten major families that Greg mentioned be like? While she was pondering, the car stopped.

"We're here." Evelyn nodded and got out of the car.

"Let's go." Greg stood beside her and led her into the living room.

Evelyn followed him, expecting to see Mr. Hamilton Sr. as soon as she entered the living room. But it was not Mr. Hamilton. Clearly, Greg hadn't anticipated that his parents would be here again. His expression now was a mixture of surprise and disgust.

“What are you here for again?" His parents ignored him, instead turned their gaze to Evelyn, their expressions equally unpleasant.

"Are you Evelyn?" Mrs. Hamilton spoke first, thinking to herself that this woman was indeed a vixen, using her beauty to seduce her son.

Evelyn nodded and replied with a smile, "Mr. Hamilton, Mrs. Hamilton, hello."

Although she didn't know what was going on, she was still a guest and needed to maintain proper etiquette.

"Hmph!" Mrs. Hamilton scoffed.

Evelyn remained silent and looked at Mr. Hamilton. "Mr. Hamilton, I hope you're doing well."

"I'm doing great, ever since you performed the surgery on me." Mr. Hamilton Sr. smiled at Evelyn, as if looking at his future daughter-in-law.

Evelyn Marina instructed, "That's good to hear. Please take care of your health, especially your emotions, and try not to get too excited."

"Alright, I'll listen to you." Mr. Hamilton Sr. nodded with satisfaction.

Mrs. Hamilton, seeing that Evelyn was ignoring her, became even more furious. "What's wrong with you? Can't you hear me talking to you? People from small towns have no manners."
