Chapter 1161: Rasal
"I was wondering where those two had disappeared to, but I didn't expect Alex to spill his guts to Ruby today. The timing's just perfect," Evelyn said, eyeing the pair.
Dermot stayed quiet. He couldn't help but feel bad for Craig. Looked like Craig's chances were totally shot now.
Evelyn could read Dermot's mind. "You better tell Craig not to do anything stupid. If anything happens to Ruby or Alex, he's gonna have to deal with me."
"Relax, Craig's not that kind of guy," Dermot replied. Though he knew this news would hit Craig hard, he didn't think it would push him to go after Ruby and Alex.
But honestly, Dermot wasn't entirely sure. Craig had always been stubborn, and in his head, Ruby was always his girl.
Now that Ruby was someone else's girl, it was hard to believe he'd just accept it.
As they chatted, Ruby and Alex walked up. "Evelyn, meet my boyfriend, Alex."
"Congrats," Evelyn said with a grin. Ruby looked over the moon.
"Mr. Morris, I'm trusting you with Ruby. If you mess up, you're gonna regret it," Evelyn warned.
Alex nodded earnestly, "Ms. Kyte, don't worry, I'll treat her right."
She was his first girlfriend, and he intended for her to be his last.
The party kept rolling, and Keith was clearly having a blast with his buddies. Sarah didn't want to interrupt, so she just sipped champagne and chatted with Evelyn and the others.
It wasn't until late at night, when the party wrapped up and everyone had left, that Sarah helped a tipsy Keith back to their room.
Now, they were the only ones left in the big villa. It was so quiet they could hear each other's breathing.
Keith had drunk quite a bit, and Sarah struggled to get him onto the bed. She didn't have the energy to give him a bath.
She decided to just take off his jacket and let him sleep it off.
But as soon as her hand touched the buttons of Keith's jacket, he grabbed her hand. "Sarah."
Sarah blinked, surprised to see Keith's eyes open. "You're not drunk?"
"I'm drunk," Keith said, pulling Sarah into his arms. "But I remember, tonight's our wedding night."
Sarah's cheeks turned bright red. "You little rascal, stop messing around!"
"Rascal? We're married now," Keith said, annoyed, then flipped over, pinning Sarah beneath him.
They were so close, they could feel each other's breath. For some reason, they both got a bit nervous.
They stayed like that for a few seconds, then Sarah took the lead. "Stop stalling, are you a man or not?"
Keith couldn't help but laugh. Her words really got to him. "You'll find out soon enough."
With that, he lowered his head and kissed Sarah's lips.
Meanwhile, the driver Keith had arranged first dropped off Dermot and Evelyn at their place, then got ready to take Alex and Ruby home.
"We're heading in now," Evelyn said to Ruby in the car.
Ruby nodded and waved. "Bye; see you next time."
Then the car started again and disappeared from Evelyn and Dermot's sight.
"Let's go, it's freezing out here. Don't catch a cold," Dermot said, wrapping his arm around Evelyn and leading her into the villa, not letting her linger at the door any longer.
