Chapter 115 Mistress?

Natalie tried to find a trace of anger or sadness on Evelyn's face, but there was none. Evelyn remained the same in front of her, without any emotional changes.

"You stole Dermot, you, the other woman!" She unwillingly gnashed her teeth.

The other woman?

Evelyn raised an eyebrow, and Natalie...

"Don't flatter yourself. If Dermot truly liked you, why would he have been forced to marry me because of Grandpa Doyle? You're underestimating him too much."

"He..."

"No need to make excuses for him. The real reason is simply that he didn't like you that much and didn't want to upset Grandpa Doyle. Do you understand?" Evelyn interrupted, scoffing.

Natalie tried to say something but couldn't find the words, because she knew deep down that Evelyn was right.

Everyone else believed that she had left because Dermot married Evelyn in anger, but the truth was that she left because she knew Dermot didn't actually like her.

During the years that Evelyn wasn't around, it seemed like Dermot had gotten close to her, but Natalie believed that it was because Dermot saw her as a suitable marriage partner, someone who could help him strengthen the Doyle family.

Although she understood all of this, she couldn't accept it. Returning to Moris City again, she no longer held onto her infatuation with Dermot. What she wanted was Mrs. Doyle's position.

Therefore, Evelyn was her enemy!

After calming herself down, she said to Evelyn, "Perhaps what you said is true, but so what? I grew up with him, and no one understands him better than I do."

"Furthermore, you're already divorced. If Dermot didn't like you before, he won't like you in the future either. Shouldn't you have the decency to stay away from him?"

Evelyn couldn't help but chuckle. She thought, if you knew that Dermot was groveling to give me another chance, would you be enraged?

But she didn't say any of this to Natalie. There was no need to. She didn't actually want to be with Dermot.

Crossing her arms, Evelyn calmly said, "Don't worry. If I said I'm not interested in Dermot, then I truly am not interested. If you can make him stop coming to me, I'll even thank you."

"You!" Natalie was infuriated. Who did Evelyn think she was, acting so arrogant!

"By the way."

Suddenly, she leaned in close to Natalie and whispered in her ear, "Do you remember what happened at the restaurant last time, when Kenny got beaten up?"

Natalie was confused, not understanding why Evelyn brought this up all of a sudden.

"The truth is, he didn't guess wrong. I did it!" After saying that, Evelyn straightened up, a faint smirk on her face.

Natalie's face turned pale. She looked at Evelyn as if she was staring at an enemy. "Do you...really think the Barns family can't do anything to you?"

"Oh? What's the Barns family compared to? Trash," Evelyn sneered, deliberately provoking Natalie.

She hadn't been able to find any weaknesses in the Barns family, and she couldn't wait any longer.
So, she decided to push Natalie a little.

Maybe she can give her a surprise.

"You!" Natalie trembled with anger. If it weren't for so many people around, she would have wanted to rush up and tear apart Evelyn's mouth!

"You just wait for me. I won't let you off the hook." With these harsh words, Natalie turned around and left.

Evelyn stood in place, watching her walk away, a bigger smile on her face. Natalie, you better make a big scene, but don't disappoint me!

Not far away, Dermot saw every move they made, but he didn't approach. Instead, he sighed helplessly.

It seems like Keith's curse really came true. Evelyn won't easily give up on what Kenny did last time.

Well, in the end, it's the Barns family digging their own graves. Can't blame others.

Immediately, he messaged Todd, "Send all the information we have related to the Barns family anonymously to her."

Dermot didn't explicitly mention who this "her" was, but Todd, as his assistant, would understand.
