Chapter 466 Nathan's Sister.
Suddenly, as Natalie sat in this fated silence, she thought of something and her originally gloomy face instantly showed a smile.
However, this smile would give anyone who saw it an uneasy feeling.
Natalie got up from the hospital bed with a fierce determination as she walked out of the room, she went straight to the nurse's station.
"Hello, I'd like to ask which room Emerald is in?" she asked the nurse at the nurse's station with a pitiful look due to her injuries.
As the nurses all knew why she had come to the hospital the night before and couldn't help but feel a bit sympathetic towards her. "On the third floor, room 308." One nurse replied.
"Okay, thank you." With that, she turned and headed towards the third floor.
Emerald was Nathan's sister.
Initially, Nathan had promised to help Natalie get back at Evelyn and the condition was to pay for Emerald's treatment.

On the third floor, in room 308, Natalie pushed the door open to find Emerald leaning against the bed, lost in thought.

Natalie smiled and sat down beside her, asking, "You're Nathan's sister, right?"
"Yes, do you know Nathan? Where is he? Why hasn't he come to see me for so long?" Emerald didn't understand.
Nathan had doted on her the most, so logically, he should have come to see her as soon as she woke up.
But it had been quite some time since she woke up and Nathan had never come, nor could she get in touch with him, she was angry, but more worried.
"I'm sorry, he... can't come to see you." Natalie pretended to be sorrowful, keeping an eye on Emerald's expression.
Sure enough, when Emerald heard this her face changed dramatically. "What do you mean? What happened to Nathan?"
Natalie sighed, seemingly unsure of how to say it, which made Emerald extremely anxious.
"Do you know who paid for your treatment?" Natalie asked tentatively as she was afraid of exposing herself, so she had to ask in advance before she dared to speak.
Emerald shook her head, "I don't know, I thought it was Nathan."
"What you thought is correct, it was indeed the money Nathan earned," Natalie sighed in relief. She also didn't know where the money for Emerald's treatment came from.
Anyway, she knew the deposit she gave initially was definitely not enough, as for the rest...
Who knows? Anyway, she didn't care as long as Emerald remained unaware. After probing further, Natalie finally told her,
"To be honest, it's partly my fault. Initially, I wanted to find two bodyguards and Nathan took the initiative to come to me. The only condition was for me to pay for your treatment."
"I thought he was a loyal person, so I agreed. But I didn't expect..." Natalie paused seemingly innocent in the situation.
Emerald's heart raced, as if she had already anticipated something bad, her face turned pale.
"I have an enemy who has been targeting me. Your brother couldn't stand it and decided to teach her a lesson, but... he got caught by the other party," Natalie sighed, looking deeply pained.
Emerald was stunned, he got caught?
