Chapter 439 Is It Not Over Yet?
Dermot was about to ask her what happened, but unexpectedly, several people rushed in at the door, all with a fierce look, obviously not friendly. Evelyn's face turned black. Is this never-ending? She clenched her fists and looked at this group of people.
“So, are you all here for me?”
They exchanged glances and nodded, Evelyn understood that they were indeed here for her. Without saying anything else, she was about to rush towards them.
She thought that she could take a few of them, they couldn’t all be formidable; she had to vent her anger today. However, as soon as she took a step forward, her wrist was grabbed by someone next to her.
“You're injured; let me handle this,” Dermot said.
“I'm not...” Before she could finish her sentence, Dermot had already taken action. He was fast, and within a few minutes, he had subdued the incoming individuals. These people were in a completely different league from the woman earlier.
Evelyn walked over and smiled as she asked one of them, “Who sent you?”
The person remained silent. Evelyn continued to smile, but without warning, she stomped on his face.
“I'll ask again, who sent you?” The person grimaced from the foot on his face but still refused to speak.
Evelyn sneered, “You're really stubborn... It looks like they don't want to stay alive anymore," she said to Dermot.
"Just kill them." she told Dermot.
Dermot was about to do what she said. The people lying on the ground were extremely terrified of him. Seeing him about to strike again, they had no doubt that he would really kill them.
"I'll talk! I'll talk!" Someone finally spoke up. After all, nobody wanted to leave their lives here for real.
Evelyn was speechless. She wondered if she really didn't look like someone who would kill?
She didn't dwell on this matter any further, but instead looked at the person, waiting for him to speak.
Soon, she learned from their mouths who was behind all this. It was Greg's parents. For a moment, she didn't know what to do. She didn't have a good impression of Greg's parents either, but she had a decent relationship with Greg.
It wouldn't be right to send his parents to prison, right? She was still waiting for Mr. Hamilton Sr. to wake up and ask him about her own identity.
Seeing her conflicted, Dermot's face turned dark. "Just because they are Greg's parents, you're not planning to investigate further?"
Evelyn didn't say anything, but there was a hint of meaning. "Why did you come to Colombia with him this time? To meet his parents?" The man's face was gloomy.
Evelyn hadn't even met his parents, and now she had met Greg's parents. How could he not be enraged? Seeing that Dermot seemed to have misunderstood, Evelyn attempted to explain.
"It's not to meet his parents, but mainly to meet his grandfather." Dermot was dumbfounded. Wasn’t that the same thing?
"I have something to discuss with his grandfather," Evelyn explained again.
Dermot snorted as if he didn't believe her. Evelyn couldn't be bothered to argue with him. Why did she have to explain so much to him? They didn't have any relationship.
"What are you planning to do with these people?"
Dermot looked at the people lying on the ground. In his opinion, they should be taken directly to the police station. It would be best to send the person behind them to jail. But Evelyn obviously didn't plan to do that.
After a moment of silence, she said, "Find someone to take them to Greg. I believe he will handle it."
Given Greg's attitude towards his parents, if he found out about this, his parents wouldn't have a good outcome. It was better than taking matters into her own hands.
Dermot was very dissatisfied with this arrangement and sneered, "What if he protects his parents? Then you've suffered for nothing?"
"He's not that kind of person," Evelyn said.
"Do you know him well?" Dermot's face turned pale, and his gaze fell sharply on Evelyn.
