Chapter 330 You Have No Clear Sense of Self

Evelyn felt that it was necessary to make Emily understand one thing, "Do you have some misconceptions about yourself? Do you really believe that Dermot would be interested in you if I wasn't here?"

Where does this self-obsession come from?

In Moris City, Dermot can't even be interested in the noble ladies and heiresses. Can he be interested in you, Emily? Do you really think of yourself as a goddess?

"How do you know it's impossible?" Emily stubbornly held her ground. After all, she couldn't admit that she lacked charm.

Evelyn decided not to argue with her since arguing with a fool was pointless.

"Remember to move to the dormitory tomorrow. I don't want to see you when I come back from work," Evelyn said and turned to her room, not wanting to say another word.

As the sound of the door closing echoed, Emily was startled once again, and then she started crying in grievance.

She took out her phone and dialed her mother's number, "Mom, they're all bullying me..."

At Evelyna Fashion Design Company, Evelyn came early to see the clothes that had been redesigned. After trying them on again, a faint smile finally appeared on her face.

"Not bad, much better than before." At least now they fit well.

"To embrace different body types. Sarah nodded in agreement, “Yes, the results should be better than before.”

“Then let's start production. Contact the advertising company, find celebrity endorsements, and regardless of the outcome, we need to make a strong impression.”

Whether or not consumers will accept it remains unknown, but Evelyn believed that advertising was necessary. Who would know about the Evelyn Fashion brand if they didn't advertise it?

”Don't worry, I've already made those arrangements,” Sarah said. Evelyn turned to Marina and said, “Sarah, since you have more experience, I'll leave everything to you.”

“No problem.” Sarah was happy and eager for Evelyn's trust. She had left this industry for quite some time and wasn't sure if she could keep up with the current times. After chatting with Sarah for a while, Evelyn left the company and hurried to the hospital.

She had a surgery in the afternoon and couldn't afford any delays. In Dermot's office at the Doyle Group, he frowned slightly as he looked through all the information Todd had found on Greg. There was no useful information in the files, and he couldn't figure out why Greg suddenly took an interest in Evelyn.

“Keep searching, and have Craig look into it as well.” Dermot instructed Todd, closing the files. Todd nodded, but with a troubled expression, he said, “Mr. Irvine... seems to be in a bad mood recently.”

Dermot's frown deepened upon hearing this. Could it be that Craig was still worried about Ruby Kite's situation?

”I'll go and see him personally.” Dermot sighed. After finishing her surgery, Evelyn received a call from Dermot in the evening.
”I'll send Todd to pick you up.” Dermot said.

“Where?” Evelyn asked subconsciously. She still wanted to go back and see if Emily had moved out. Over the phone, Evelyn heard some noise on Dermot's end, but it quickly quieted down.

He must have found a quiet place to talk to her.

“Craig has been in a bad mood because of Ruby Kite's situation. I thought of organizing a gathering, playing some cards and drinking with a few friends. It might have some effect.” He said. Upon hearing the name Craig, Evelyn subconsciously furrowed her brow. “Then I won't come over. You guys have fun.”
“No, they all have girlfriends accompanying them, and I'm the only one who's single. Are you willing to let me be alone?” He glanced at the women around the room, some of whom couldn't really be considered girlfriends, but at least they had someone with them.

Even at Craig's side, there were two women sitting, although they didn't do anything and were only responsible for pouring drinks, at least it didn't look as lonely. It was him... since the start of the drinking session, he had been sitting alone, and it was getting a bit boring.
