"Since that's the case, how about we have dinner together tonight?" Greg asked again, extending an invitation. Evelyn had rejected him last time, but now she shouldn't, right?

Greg left his office and went to the ward to take care of his father after confirming the time and location.
Evelyn's smile completely disappeared when he disappeared from sight. She picked up her phone and dialed a number. "Niall, help me look up someone." "The Hamilton family in Colombia, Greg."
In the VIP ward, Greg walked in with no smile on his face. "Here I am," Mr. Hamilton leaned against the bed, closed the file in his hand, and looked up at him.
Seeing his serious expression, he asked, "What? Did something happen with the Hamilton family?"
"No," Greg shook his head and walked in front of his own father. "I just invited Evelyn to dinner." he said.
Mr. Hamilton was surprised and then asked, "Did she agree?" Greg grunted, his emotions faint, which surprised Mr. Hamilton, "You don't seem very happy."
"She is smarter than I imagined, and she easily saw through all the false words I said to her." Greg helplessly, he had never met such a smart woman before.
Mr. Hamilton, however, appeared calm and said, "Is it not good to be smart? In this world, if you're not smart, you'll be taken advantage of."
Greg looked at his old man and couldn't help but ask, "So, why exactly do you want me to have a good relationship with her?"
Although he had a good impression of Evelyn, it was based on the fact that she saved his old man, and he didn't have any other thoughts. But after waking up, his old man insisted on him having a good relationship with Evelyn, and even supporting him in pursuing Evelyn, which confused him.
"I just think she reminds me of an old acquaintance of mine." Mr. Hamilton pondered, as if lost in memories.
Greg couldn't help being speechless, "Just because of that?"
"I think that girl is pretty good, she has excellent medical skills, and she is also a disciple of Mr. Smith. She's talented, and you won't lose out, right?" Mr. Hamilton glanced at him.

When Evelyn came to check on the patient, the conversation between the two had already ended. Mr. Hamilton looked at her kindly and said, "Evelyn, your medical skills are so good. It’s a pity for you to stay in Moris City. Have you ever considered going to Colombia?"
"Thank you for your kind offer, Mr. Hamilton. But I think Morris City is quite nice. I don't have any plans to leave at the moment," she replied.
Upon hearing this, Mr. Hamilton showed a regretful expression, but he didn't insist, "That's alright. Whenever you decide to go to Colombia, contact Greg. He will make arrangements for you. I’m sure it won't be any worse than being here."
Evelyn glanced at Greg, who nodded, and she said to Marina, "Okay, if there's a need, I will contact Mr. Hamilton."
"Okay." The old Mr. Hamilton didn't say anything else but squinted his eyes as if lost in memories.
Whenever he saw Evelyn, it was easy for him to think of someone from his past.
However, that person was already gone, and he had looked up Evelyn's information, discovering that she had grown up in a small village below Morris City, with no connection to that person from his past.
Perhaps he was overthinking.
