Chapter 1399 Extra: Aidan and Phoebe (74)

That afternoon, Sienna and Aidan rushed to the Doyle Group to sign the contract. Aidan was worried that Dermot might change his mind, so he urged Sienna to sign the contract. Only then could he truly be at ease.

Sienna thought about it and agreed, so she went with Aidan to the Doyle Group.

In the conference room, Dermot looked at Sienna and Aidan in front of him with an indifferent expression. "Ms. Lowe, you really have a good son."

"Mr. Doyle, you flatter me. Aidan is also thinking about the Lowe Group. Inevitably, he might be a bit inconsiderate in his actions sometimes. I hope Mr. Doyle won't hold it against him," Sienna said with a smile. Even though she knew Dermot was being sarcastic, she didn't mind.

As long as it brought real benefits to the Lowe Group, she didn't care how much Dermot mocked her.

Dermot sneered and handed over the contract. "Take a look."

Sienna took it and began to read it carefully.

If this project succeeded, the rewards would be substantial. However, the initial investment was enormous, almost consuming all of the Lowe Group's cash flow. All other projects would have to be paused to make it happen, so she had to be cautious.

The contract seemed fine. The Doyle Group was even generous enough to give them fifty percent, which Sienna found unbelievable. "Mr. Doyle, I thought giving up thirty percent would already be incredible."

"If Aidan hadn't gone to see my wife, do you think I'd be willing to give you such a large share?" Dermot showed his displeasure on his face.

Sienna hesitated a bit. If it were thirty percent, her company could scrape together the cash and barely make it. But fifty percent was a bit difficult for the Lowe Group at the moment.

The Lowe Group already had quite a few projects on hand. Even if they paused them, the money already invested wouldn't see a return, which would significantly impact the Lowe Group.

"Mrs. Lowe, what are you hesitating about? Don't tell me you don't have the money?" Dermot sneered and took the contract back. "If so, then don't covet projects you shouldn't be thinking about."

He seemed very reluctant to share the project with the Lowe Group, hoping Sienna didn't have the money.

But how could Sienna give up such an opportunity?

She explained, "Mr. Doyle, that's not the case. The Lowe Group lacks everything but money." With that, Sienna took the contract back from Dermot and, without any hesitation this time, signed her name.

Seeing the contract successfully signed, Aidan smirked. He looked at Sienna in front of him and couldn't help but think, 'Enjoy your last good days while you can; soon, you won't have them anymore.'

Leaving the Doyle Group, Sienna held the contract, feeling a bit uneasy.

"Aidan, the share suddenly became fifty percent. Currently, our company can't come up with such a huge sum of money. What do you think we should do?" Sienna asked Aidan beside her.

Aidan thought for a moment and then said, "We can go to the bank for a loan first. After the project is completed, we can repay the bank."

Sienna shook her head helplessly. She knew that things weren't that simple. The Lowe Group already had a large debt with the bank. Now, with another huge sum, how could the bank be willing to lend them more?

"Otherwise, I can go to Evelyn and ask the Kyte Group to lend us some money," Aidan suggested.

"Will she agree?" Sienna asked.

"We can use a few of our projects as collateral. After all, once we repay the money, the projects will still be ours. Those projects can't proceed for now anyway," Aidan said casually.

Although he said it casually, Sienna took it seriously. It wasn't a bad idea.
