Chapter 304 A Born Busybody
After lunch, Evelyn and the group left, taking Ethan and Mia with them. They needed time to adjust, and it wouldn't be right to bring them having made an appointment with the couple, Evelyn agreed that they could come and pick up the two children every day to play, and once everything was settled, Ethan and Mia would officially become their children.
After dropping the three of them off at the entrance of the community, Dermot had to go to work, and Evelyn urged him to hurry and not let his work be delayed because of her.
Once he left, Evelyn took the two children back home. She had thought that by this time, Emily Morgans would have woken up, but when she got home, she realized that she had underestimated the other person's laziness.
Evelyn knocked on Emily Morgans' room door, and she opened it drowsily, complaining when she saw Evelyn, "What's the matter? It's so early and you're knocking on my door. Don't you know I want to sleep?"
"Emily Morgans, can you please take a look at what time it is now? Are you still sleeping?" Evelyn was infuriated. She couldn't understand how her hardworking uncle could have such a lazy daughter.
Emily Morgans didn't care and came out of the room, seeing some food on the table and started eating. "I only wake up at this time when I'm at home. Do you think I'm like you? Born to work hard?"
Her mom had said that she was born to enjoy life, and she was different from Evelyn.
Evelyn couldn't help but laugh at her anger. "So, you didn't plan on finding a job and working in Moris City, did you?"
Emily Morgans hesitated for a moment and quickly shook her head. "Of course not, I can change."
If she said she didn't want to work, Evelyn would immediately send her back.
She wasn't going back, especially after finally meeting a wealthy person. If she went back, wouldn't that be benefiting Evelyn?
"Fine, I'll give you a chance." Evelyn nodded and said to her, "Get ready in half an hour, I'll take you for an interview. If you're even a minute late, you'll go back."
"Evelyn! You can't do this..."
"I'm not joking with you." Evelyn looked at her with no hint of a smile.
Somehow, Emily Morgans realized that she was starting to fear Evelyn, especially in her current state, which made her seem quite scary.
She gritted her teeth, not wanting to listen to Evelyn's words, but also not having a choice but to listen.
With a cold snort, she went back to her room, quickly changed her clothes, and came out to stand in front of Evelyn. "Is this good enough?"
"Consider yourself sensible." Evelyn was actually prepared to send her back, even if she found her a job. It would be a waste of time since she wouldn't do it properly.
But seeing that she had obediently changed her clothes, Evelyn decided to give her a chance.
After entrusting the two children to the daycare downstairs, Evelyn took Emily Morgans and headed straight to Evelyna Fashion Design Company.
She didn't tell Emily Morgans that it was her own company, mainly to prevent her from slacking off because of it.
Having already informed Sarah in advance, the company was bustling with employees.
"Other people can't speak it either."
"This is my friend's company, with your education and experience, this is the best job you can find. If you don't cherish it, don't blame me for not helping you." After successfully starting the job, Evelyn prepared to leave, but still kindly advised, "Don't worry, I will work hard."
"I hope so. You are not young anymore, don't let your uncle continue to worry about you." Evelyn stopped speaking and left.
But she didn't leave the company. Instead, she went upstairs to Sarah's office to see how the clothing she designed looked.
If possible, she hoped to launch some clothing as soon as possible and quickly establish the name of the Evelyn Fashion brand.
