Chapter 720 You Were the One Who Instigated It, Right?
"You can let Margaret deceive you if you want, and it has nothing to do with me. I want to tell you, if you have time, to go back to Moris City and see Grandpa. Don't you know he's in the hospital?" Evelyn had given up arguing about whether he liked it or not.
Dermot's face was stern. "I don't need your reminder."
"If you really didn't need my reminder, you wouldn't have stayed away from Moris City for so long. Do you think grandpa would care if you have amnesia?" She really couldn't understand him. Even if he had amnesia, Henry would only help him, not harm him.
Seeing Dermot like this, Evelyn got a bit angry and couldn't help but say again, "Most people don't care if you have amnesia. Don't think anyone would harm you. Even if they wanted to, they would need the ability to do so."
"You have amnesia, but you haven't lost all your emotions. Dermot, I don't want you to do something you'll regret."
She could feel that Henry missed Dermot a lot through the call. Furthermore, his weak tone suggested that despite being in the hospital, his condition had not significantly improved.
After saying this, Evelyn stood up. Before leaving, she added, "Margaret is a psychologist. I hope you analyze her words carefully and don't let her guide you."
With that, Evelyn left, not caring whether Dermot listened or not.
She had left, but Dermot didn't. He sat there, drank another cup of coffee, and seemed to sober up a bit.
He had amnesia, losing not only his memories but also his feelings for his loved ones.
He hadn't thought much of it before, but now he felt a bit uneasy.
He knew Henry was very important to him, but because of the amnesia, Dermot couldn't figure out how important he was. He didn't have much emotion, so the fact that Henry was still lying in the hospital didn't affect him much.
But Evelyn's words made him realize that this was wrong. Maybe he should try to regain his memories.
Thinking of this, he booked a flight back to Moris City overnight. It was time to go back and see.
After meeting that night, Evelyn didn't meet Dermot again, but she did hear that he went back to Moris City to visit Henry, which relieved her somewhat.
Fortunately, although Dermot had amnesia, he hadn't completely lost his emotions.
Today was her first day working at Golombia Hospital. Evelyn got up early, not wanting to leave a bad impression on her first day.
In the living room on the first floor, Blake had already gone to work. Dora was still in the living room and looked at her when she heard footsteps.
Their eyes met, but Evelyn ignored her and walked past Dora, ready to leave.
At this moment, Dora stood up and blocked her way. "Is the Kyte family going against the Roberts family?"
Hearing this, Evelyn was surprised and looked back at her.
Did Dora actually know it?
"It was you who instigated it, right?" From Evelyn's eyes, Dora got the confirmation she needed. She was even more certain that the information she got from the Roberts family was true.
Her husband was actually plotting against the Roberts family and with outsiders no less. She didn't believe Evelyn had nothing to do with it.
For so many years, although Blake didn't like the Roberts family, he never had any intention of going against them.
Why did things change as soon as Evelyn came back? It must be her instigation.
Evelyn was eating her breakfast at the dining table. "Where did you hear that?"
"Hear that? Who in all of Golombia doesn't know by now?" This morning, the news that the Kyte family and the Allen family were teaming up against the Roberts family had already made headlines. Until now, neither the Kyte family nor the Allen family had come out to clarify, which meant it was true.
