Chapter 763 I Want to Know How You Feel Right Now
Dora swallowed and forced a smile, asking, "What's up? Is there something you need from me?"
"Not really, I am curious about how you feel now that the Roberts family is bankrupt," Evelyn said provocatively, but Blake didn't care and pretended not to notice.
Dora understood everything; Blake always sided with Evelyn. "The Roberts family brought it upon themselves. I'm sorry about that, but I won't help them."
At this point, Dora could only rely on the Kyte family. She couldn't afford to be left with nothing.
"Dora, are you serious? Haven't you helped the Roberts family enough?" Evelyn sneered with sarcasm.
Dora's heart skipped a beat, and she became anxious. "Evelyn, what do you mean by that? I've never helped the Roberts family.
"I know, I did hope Blake would spare the Roberts family before, but I was just asking you guys. I didn't do anything else."
She was worried that Evelyn knew everything.
But then she quickly dismissed the thought.
"Really?" Evelyn wasn't surprised that Dora denied it. She handed the information she had gathered to Blake. "Dad, take a look."
Evelyn believed Blake didn't know about these information; otherwise, he wouldn't have tolerated Dora for so long.
Sure enough, Blake's face darkened instantly when he saw the contents of the documents. He asked, "Is this all true?"
"Absolutely," Evelyn said as she nodded. Although she disliked Dora, she wouldn't fabricate anything.
Besides, Dora already had plenty of dirty deeds; there was no need to make anything up.
Blake threw the documents at Dora, then stood up and pointed at her, trembling with anger.
Upon seeing this, Evelyn quickly stepped forward to comfort him, "Calm down, it's not worth it for someone like her."
Finally, under Evelyn's soothing, Blake calmed down, but the anger in his heart didn't dissipate.
Dora looked at the documents, trembling as she flipped through them. The next second, her face turned pale.
The one she saw first was a photo of her and Percy entering a hotel together. As she continued to flip through, there were documents she had given to Percy, and even their chat records.
Further on, there were documents she had given to the Roberts family; chat records of her connecting the Roberts family with Percy; and even messages she sent to the Roberts family on the day Evelyn had an accident, which informed them that Evelyn was going out.
Dora couldn't believe it, thinking, 'Where does Evelyn get these documents? Aren't the chat records on my own phone?'
Thinking of this, Dora felt a bit panicked.
Evelyn was terrifying.
"Dora, I can understand you going against me, but it's strange that you helped outsiders against the Kyte family. Do you think the downfall of the Kyte family would benefit you?" Evelyn truly didn't understand Dora's motives.
At this point, Dora realized that denying it was meaningless.
Leaning back in her chair, Dora seemed relaxed. She sneered at Evelyn's question, "You sound like the Kyte family standing benefits me in any way.
"The Kyte family is yours. It has nothing to do with me and Lucia, " Dora said.
Even though Lucia was also Blake's daughter, she could get nothing from the Kyte family.
"So, you colluded with outsiders to destroy the Kyte family?" Evelyn couldn't figure out clearly. Even if the Kyte family didn't give her anything, being the lady of the Kyte family wasn't a bad life.
Moreover, Blake hadn't mistreated Dora. He just didn't love her, but he still provided for her. Many people would envy Dora's life.
