Chapter 467 You're Also Responsible for Nathan's Death!
Natalie was actually very clever. What she told Emerald wasn't entirely false, such as hiring Nathan and Nathan's suicide. These things were true and could be verified even if Emerald investigated.
Emerald seemed unable to react for a long time, looking at Natalie in disbelief.
Suicide? Nathan committed suicide? Emerald was lost in her thoughts.
Emerald didn't want to believe this outcome and angrily shouted at Natalie, "Stop talking nonsense! Nathan would never commit suicide!"
How could someone as capable as Nathan possibly commit suicide?
"Don't get too worked up, your health is important," Natalie said pretending to care,
"I know it's hard for you to accept right now, but the fact remains. If you don't believe it, you can investigate once you're discharged from the hospital."
After all, Nathan's death was indeed related to Evelyn. She sent him to prison and was also the one planning to sue him. As for why he would commit suicide, who knows? Maybe he really couldn't accept being sentenced?
Emerald remained silent for a long time, but Natalie wasn't in a hurry. Based on the relationship between these siblings, there was still a high chance of Emerald seeking revenge for Nathan.
"Who was that person?" After a while Emerald snapped back to reality and asked through gritted teeth.
Instead of directly answering, Natalie responded with some hesitation saying,
"She has power and influence in Moris City. You're no match for her. Give up and keep your distance after you recover. It's best not to let her know about your relationship with Nathan. Who knows what she might do?"
"Tell me, what is her name!" Emerald unwillingly accepted the fact that Nathan died at the hands of that person. How could she possibly give up?
Witnessing Emerald's intense hatred grow, Natalie was secretly delighted but maintained a serious expression. Before she pretended to give in.
"Her name is Evelyn. She is a doctor at Moris Hospital and has a good relationship with Dermot Doyle. You're no match for her."
"Well, I know I'm not a match for her, but Nathan shouldn't have died for nothing!" Emerald ground her teeth as she spoke.
Evelyn, huh? I won't let you off the hook. Emerald thought to herself.
"What are you planning to do?" Natalie was curious. She genuinely feared that Emerald would go and get herself killed. Especially if she didn't cause any harm to Evelyn. If Emerald didn’t act against Evelyn then Natalie would have just wasted her time today.
Emerald was at a loss, unable to answer Natalie's question.
Natalie had already thought of a solution before coming here and cautiously said, "I heard Nathan mention before that he had a powerful teacher. Do you know him?"
"Nathan's teacher..." Emerald fell into deep thought and nodded after a while. "I've met him a few times. He is indeed formidable."
"In a situation like this, you can only seek help from your brother's teacher. After all, your brother was his student and he will surely seek vengeance for Nathan." Natalie said cautiously.
Natalie didn't believe that Emerald could harm Evelyn in any way. This matter would rely on Nathan's teacher.
Since he could teach someone as powerful as Nathan, he was probably quite remarkable himself. Who knows, Nathan might even have some senior brothers and sisters.
If they dealt with Evelyn, would she still be alive? Thinking about this, Natalie became extremely excited.
Emerald had no idea what Natalie was thinking, but hearing her words, she found them somewhat reasonable. "I will go find my brother's teacher once I leave here."
Natalie was very satisfied with this response. "Rest well then. I won't disturb you anymore."
As she was about to walk towards the door, Emerald stopped her at this moment and said, "You are also responsible for my brother's death."
Natalie froze when she heard this, she pretended to look sorrowful as she turned around and said. "Yes, you're right. That's why you can seek revenge with me as well."
Natalie continued "But now I have nothing left. I've ended up like this today. I don't know what to do to give you peace of mind." She looked at herself self-mockingly as she spoke, feeling a little bitter at her situation.
