Chapter 832 Send Him to Meet God

Blake thought Dora was beyond help and waved her off. "There's no need to continue. Whatever fate awaits Eugene, the court will determine. I choose not to get involved.."

"Are you really that heartless, not even considering the bond between us?" Dora's heart ached as she locked eyes with him.

She had mentally prepared herself before coming, but facing such a heartless Blake still caused her uncontrollable pain.

After all, he was someone she once loved. How could it not hurt?

"Please leave." Blake didn't want to talk to her anymore or see her again.

He then told the servants, "If Ms. Roberts comes again, you don't have to report to me. I won't see her."

Dora had lived with the Kyte family for years, so the servants were used to treating her like the lady of the house. But Blake's words today would change that.

Dora's eyes reddened as she glared at him. "Fine! Blake, you're really something."

After the divorce, she had moved on and decided to live her own life with the settlement money. It wasn't as luxurious as before, but she managed.

Most importantly, she was happier without being Blake's wife and had found a joy she hadn't felt in a long time.

But now, facing Blake's attitude, she couldn't help but feel a surge of hatred.

As Dora left Kyte Manor, she ran into Evelyn, who had just returned from a concert.

"Mrs. Roberts, you came to visit my dad again?" Evelyn raised an eyebrow, noticing her red eyes, and sneered. "Looks like you didn't get what you wanted. What a pity!"

"Evelyn!" Dora gritted her teeth. Despite her anger, she forced herself to ask, "Can you let Eugene go?"

Evelyn was stunned. She didn't expect Dora to have the nerve to ask that. "Letting him go is up to God. My job is to send him to meet God."

Evelyn continued, "Of course, he might end up in hell. Someone like him probably won't make it to heaven."

Her words were harsher than Blake's, making it clear that Eugene wouldn't escape the law's punishment.

If Dora hadn't come to her, she wouldn't have thought of it. Now that Dora had, she would be more vigilant and keep an eye on the police station to ensure Eugene didn't escape.

Dora looked at Evelyn and Joshua standing together, her hands clenching at her sides. "You're just like your father."

They didn't give anyone a way out.

Dora left, and Evelyn sneered, not taking it to heart.

She wasn't afraid of the former Dora, let alone the current one.

"Joshua, you should go back. Thanks for today. The food was delicious and the concert is nice." Evelyn turned to Joshua, who was standing beside her, but saw that he was staring in the direction Dora had left, lost in thought.

"Joshua?" Evelyn called out again.

Joshua snapped back to reality and nodded at her. "If you like, I can take you out to eat and listen to concerts every day."

"That's not necessary. No matter how good the food is, if you eat it too much, you won't like it. And the concert is the same." Evelyn quickly waved her hand. She didn't want to go to concerts every day.

Joshua smiled. "Alright, go on in. I'll watch you walk away before I drive off."

"Okay, take care." Evelyn waved at him and, without any further courtesy, turned and walked into Kyte Manor.
