Chapter 352 Worried About You Being Tired

As he carried Evelyn into the house, Dermot placed her on the sofa before asking, "Where did you get hurt?"

"At my waist," Evelyn pointed to her waist, which was covered by her clothes and not visible to Dermot.

He was somewhat worried and wanted to check her injury, but Evelyn refused, saying, "It's fine, I already took care of it at the hospital."

"Alright, if you say so," Dermot didn't insist, knowing that Evelyn felt embarrassed.

"How did you know about my injury?" Evelyn asked curiously. Dermot wouldn't randomly investigate her, would he?

Dermot placed a cup of warm water in front of Evelyn before answering, "You said we should go eat with Marina, but you sent me the location of a hospital. Isn't that strange?"

"Just because of that?" Evelyn couldn't believe it. Just because she sent Dermot the location of a hospital, he thought something had happened to her?

Dermot nodded. His intuition was always accurate, so when he saw the location Evelyn sent him, his first thought was that something had happened.

After a quick investigation, it turned out to be true.

Thinking of Robert, Dermot had already come up with a hundred ways to torture him in his mind.

As if catching a glimpse of the killing intent in Dermot's eyes, Evelyn hastily said, "Robert has been taken away by the police and is awaiting legal trial. You must not get involved."

"Evelyn!" Dermot was somewhat angry.

"He will receive the punishment he deserves, you don't need to dirty your hands," Evelyn looked at him, not wanting Dermot to stain himself with that person's blood, it wasn't worth it.

Dermot still felt angry inside, but seeing Evelyn's insistence, he knew that if he really laid a hand on Robert, it would definitely make her unhappy. He could only nod.

Seeing him nod, Evelyn smiled, "That's right."

"Doesn't it hurt?" Dermot suddenly asked, his eyes revealing his heartfelt concern.

Evelyn was moved and shook her head, "It hurt before, but it doesn't hurt anymore now that I've seen you."

In an instant, Dermot couldn't help but laugh and reached out to pinch Evelyn's nose. "You sure can talk," he said.

Dermot's actions were a little flirtatious, causing Evelyn's cheeks to blush. She quickly averted her gaze and asked, "Have you eaten?"

"Mhm," he nodded, but in reality, he had been worried about Evelyn the whole time at the gathering and hadn't eaten much at all.

"I'll cook some spaghetti for you," Evelyn offered. She wasn't foolish and knew that Dermot had rushed over in a hurry, so he probably hadn't had a proper meal, especially since she herself was a bit hungry.

As she was about to get up, Dermot quickly stopped her. "If you want to eat, just say so, I'll make it for you."

Did he really have to ask if he was hungry or not? Dermot was tempted to laugh.

Evelyn gave him a playful smile without denying it. "I'm just afraid you'll be too tired."

"If you take good care of yourself, then I wouldn't have to work so hard," he knew very well that Evelyn had been injured while protecting Marina.

Given Evelyn's skills, if she hadn't rushed out to protect Marina, Robert wouldn't have been able to hurt her at all.

Without waiting for Evelyn's response, Dermot got up and walked towards the kitchen. Soon, sounds could be heard from inside, and the empty room suddenly became a bit lively.

Evelyn got up and walked to the kitchen door, watching Dermot's busy figure inside. She couldn't help but curl her lips. "You look really handsome when you're cooking."

"Don't think that a few compliments will make me cook for you for the rest of my life. Let me tell you, in the future, you should learn to cook for me too," Dermot said, annoyed.

How could he not know about Evelyn's little thoughts?
