Unfazed, Evelyn, however, seemed unphased as she smiled and said,. "It might not be a big deal for the Kytes, but it means a lot to me."
This was the first deal she had brokered on her own, and everyone at the company, especially Lucia, was waiting to see her fail.
If she couldn't close the deal, she couldn't imagine the ridicule she'd face.

Seeing his easy agreement, Evelyn wasn't surprised. by his easy agreement. It was a lucrative trade; it would have been shocking if Leap Lock had refused.
Quickly, Evelyn Swiftly, she summoned Garrett to join them, and Leap Lock openly declared he was stepping aside. Although Garrett was astonished at their speedy agreement, he went along with it and signed the contract with Evelyn as planned.
