Chapter 902 Feeling Sorry for Him?
Jennifer's face blushed, and she stammered, "Ms. Kyte, you do him honor."
"Did you find the info I wanted?" Evelyn, standing next to Jennifer, suddenly asked about Alice and Amelia.
Jennifer was caught off guard but quickly replied, "Yeah, I found it. We'll check out the house first, then I'll take you to find Alice and Amelia."
Tracking them down was easy, but their situation was rough. Jennifer wondered if she should warn Evelyn.
Evelyn didn't press further and followed Jennifer to the neighborhood entrance.
They walked there in about ten minutes, just as Evelyn wanted.
Evelyn liked the neighborhood and praised Luke. "Luke did a great job."
Finding a house Evelyn liked so quickly wasn't easy.
"Mr. Royle always handles things well," Jennifer said proudly as if she were the one being praised.
Evelyn glanced at her but said nothing, just sighed inwardly about people in love.
"Ms. Kyte, next time you need something like this, just call me. I promise you'll be satisfied," Jennifer said.
Evelyn nodded and asked, "What? Feeling sorry for Luke?"
"Mr. Royle is very busy. You can leave these small tasks to me," Jennifer laughed awkwardly, feeling a bit sorry.
Evelyn was speechless. "Alright. I'll come to you next time."
Jennifer chuckled.
After viewing the house, Evelyn was very satisfied and signed the contract, asking Jennifer to handle the paperwork quickly. She planned to move in soon.
Jennifer agreed, and they left to find Alice and Amelia.
In Jennifer's car, Evelyn noticed they were driving away from the city center, guessing Alice and Amelia's situation wasn't good.
Jennifer said, "Ms. Kyte, when you asked me to look into Alice and Amelia this morning, I did it right away. Amelia got out of the hospital yesterday, but her husband, Quentin, kicked her out. They even signed divorce papers and will finalize it soon."
Evelyn nodded, her worry intensifying. "Where are they staying now?"
Jennifer replied, "Amelia and Alice are staying with Amelia's sister, but it's far. It'll take another half hour to get there."
Houses in the city center of Golombia were expensive. Ordinary people couldn't afford to rent one, let alone buy one.
Evelyn didn't ask further. She'd get the details in person.
Half an hour later, Jennifer's car stopped in front of a residential house. Inside, it was a rental with many people living there.
Jennifer led Evelyn to a door and knocked.
The door opened, and Amelia's sister, Angela Walker, stepped out.
Evelyn recognized Angela because she looked like Amelia.
"What is the matter?" Angela asked.
"Is Amelia here?" Jennifer asked with a smile, trying to be friendly.
Angela remained cautious. Given Amelia's situation, it was strange for someone to visit.
Angela thought, 'Could it be that jerk Patrick Walker causing trouble again?'
Seeing Angela's cautious look, Evelyn quickly said, "I'm Amelia's doctor, Evelyn. Tell her my name, and she'll know."
Angela looked at Evelyn, seemingly convinced. She nodded. "Alright, wait here. I'll go ask her."
She didn't let them in, leaving them outside.
