Chapter 1157: I'm Not in a Hurry

The music kicked in, and bam, the ceremony was on. Sarah and Keith, grinning like they just won the lottery, strolled down the aisle while everyone got up from their seats. The pastor, who was there to make it all official, gave them a warm smile.

The whole thing started, and the guests were all serious, waiting for the couple to drop their vows. The pastor walked in with this big, important vibe, making the moment feel all sacred and stuff.

The pastor kicked things off with a sweet speech, blessing the couple and wishing them a love that lasts forever. Then, Sarah and Keith got all serious, promising to stick together through thick and thin.

Evelyn, the maid of honor, watched them closely as they made their promises, hugged, and kissed, silently sending her good vibes.

Then came the ring exchange, a big deal symbolizing their deep commitment and endless love. The rings sparkled under the lights, sealing the deal between their hearts.

Finally, the pastor announced Sarah and Keith as husband and wife. This epic moment was burned into everyone's memory, marking the start of their new life together. Sarah and Keith gave a heartfelt speech, thanking everyone for their love and support and sharing their hopes for an awesome future.

After the ceremony, Evelyn headed back to the table, and Dermot asked, "Hungry? Go ahead and eat."

The wedding had them running around all day, and as bridesmaids and groomsmen, they barely had time to grab a bite.

"Yeah, you too," Evelyn replied. It was Sarah's big day, so she definitely wanted to chow down.

As they ate, Sarah and Keith came over.

Sarah, a bit tipsy but super happy, said, "Evelyn, I hope I get to be at your wedding soon."

"Sarah, no rush," Evelyn grinned, wondering why everyone was so eager to see her hitched.

She was still young, after all.

Sarah smiled and raised her glass. "Thanks for all your help today. Everyone's gonna be happy."

"We'll all be happy," Evelyn and the others echoed, downing their drinks. Evelyn tossed back her drink like a pro, but Ruby wasn't as seasoned. Alex, seeing Ruby reach for her second drink, quickly grabbed it and downed it himself.

Ruby shot him a look.

"You can't drink too much," Alex said.

Ruby just pursed her lips, thinking he was being a bit over the top. She could handle a few drinks.

"Ruby, isn't it sweet how much Alex cares about you?" Evelyn teased.

Ruby glared but stayed quiet.

She was a little touched, but not much.

After that, they focused on eating, 'cause they were starving.

Sarah and Keith cut into their wedding cake as the reception wound down, sharing a bite and a sweet kiss. Then, as the music shifted to a romantic tune, they had their first dance, their happiness lighting up the room.

Soon, the dance floor was packed, everyone celebrating the newlyweds. When it was time for the bouquet toss, Sarah skipped the usual theatrics. She walked right up to Evelyn and handed her the bouquet. "Evelyn," she said, eyes sparkling, "I think you're next."

Evelyn was stunned.

"Just take it. I don't mind," Ruby nudged her. Evelyn at least had a boyfriend, while Ruby didn't, so she wasn't in a rush.

Evelyn didn't refuse. She thought catching the bouquet would be more fun, but she couldn't turn down Sarah's blessing.

As the wedding wrapped up, the guests quickly left.

There was still an evening party, but it was just for Sarah and Keith's friends, all young folks ready to have a blast.

The group left the hotel, and Keith had cars ready to take them to their house for the party.

It was Evelyn's first time seeing the villa, though she'd technically been there before. But back then, it didn't look anything like this. Keith had gone all out, decking the place out for the wedding. Flowers everywhere, red decorations – the whole place screamed romance.

Everyone cheered and teased, and Sarah felt a bit embarrassed, whispering to Keith, "Why'd you do all this?"

"Don't you like it?" Keith frowned. He thought Sarah would love it, so he went all out.
