Chapter 900 Flattery

Aidan took Evelyn to the Kyte Manor.

Looking at the vast villa, Evelyn felt a sudden loneliness. She called Luke to help her buy a smaller house near the hospital for convenience.

Since Blake left, she'd been living alone in the big manor, which made her uncomfortable. She finally decided to move out.

She wasn't worried about the manor as she had arranged for a housekeeper to take care of it. She'd consider moving back when Blake returned because she hated living alone in such a large place.

After sorting things out, Evelyn washed up and went to bed. She planned to tell Amelia about the charity fund tomorrow, reassuring her not to rush her discharge.

Evelyn soon fell asleep, and Aidan had just returned to the villa.

Niall had just arrived in Golombia and hadn't found a place to stay, so he and Lily were temporarily staying at the villa.

Aidan didn't mind. The villa had plenty of rooms, so two more people wouldn't be a big deal.

As Aidan walked into the living room, he saw Lily coming out of the kitchen. She greeted him, "Aidan."

Lily was wearing pajamas at the moment. Although nothing was revealing, Aidan still felt it was somewhat inappropriate since they weren't very familiar with each other.

"It's late. You should go to bed," Aidan said, heading upstairs.

Lily quickly called out, "Aidan, wait."

Aidan turned around, and she said, "I made some soup for Niall to alleviate hangover symptoms. Do you want some?"

"I didn't drink any alcohol," Aidan replied and left.

Lily remembered Aidan had just driven Evelyn home, so he probably hadn't been drinking at the gathering. She felt a bit regretful for asking.

Lily sighed inwardly. She always tried to please Aidan and Evelyn, fearing they wouldn't accept her.

She knew this might make people look down on her, but Niall was the best person she'd ever met, and she really wanted to be with him.

Thinking about her past mistakes, Lily frowned. She thought, 'If they know, would they still support me being with Niall?'

She regretted her past but knew it was useless.

She had always wanted to escape her family and live a good life, so she took some shortcuts, but none worked out.

Luckily, she met Niall.

Now, she just wanted to hold onto Niall and never let go.

Thinking of that, Lily carried the soup back to the room.

Niall had just finished his shower and came out of the bathroom. Seeing Lily return, he asked, "Why did you take so long? I told you it wasn't necessary. I wasn't even drunk."

"If you don't drink some soup, you'll have a headache in the morning," Lily said, handing him the soup.

Niall sighed but took it. "You never get tired, do you?"

"I'm not tired. As long as it's for you, I'm never tired," Lily smiled. Niall's heart skipped a beat, and he drank the soup in one gulp, then held her close.
