Chapter 409 No Shame
Dermot, seeing the scene before him, was filled with anger and shouted, "You have no shame!"
Doing something like this at the door, if someone were to see...
Dermot couldn't even bear to think about it. The more he thought, the angrier he became. He didn't understand how Evelyn could act this way!
Evelyn, originally intending to push Greg away, ceased her movement upon hearing Dermot's words. She lay on the ground, looking at Dermot with a smirk and said, "Mr. Doyle, you're being too nosy. Instead of spending time with your girlfriend, what are you doing here?"
"I..." Dermot started to speak but was interrupted by Evelyn. Without even looking at him, she said coldly, "Oh, I forgot, Mr. Doyle lives here too. Why don't we make way for Mr. Doyle? It's not good to be blocking the way all the time."
"Sure, no problem," Greg laughed happily. He enjoyed watching these two argue.
Letting go of Evelyn, he pulled her up from the ground and said to Dermot, "After you, Mr. Doyle."
Dermot looked at the two of them and eventually focused his gaze on Evelyn. Trying to suppress his anger, he said, "I've told you; Lassie and I are not..."
"I'm not interested in Mr. Doyle and Miss Baker's affairs," Evelyn interrupted him, her voice cold and without even glancing at him.
Dermot was furious, but had nowhere to vent. He had to turn his gaze to Greg and asked, "What is your intention?"
"Mr. Doyle, you're joking. What intention could I possibly have? It's all because I like Evelyn," Greg fearlessly responded. He and the Hamilton family were not to be messed with.
Clenching his fists, Dermot looked at the two standing together, feeling a piercing discomfort at the sight.
With a cold snort, he eventually turned and left.
After he left, Evelyn's momentum instantly weakened, and she looked at Greg beside her and said, "Didn't you say you were going to treat me to a meal? Let's go."
After that altercation, she was indeed hungry.
"Alright." The two of them went downstairs and got into Evelyn's car, but this time it was Greg who drove.
On the other side of the road, Dermot, who had just stepped out of the residential area, leaned against the roadside and lit a cigarette, watching Evelyn and Greg leaving together.
He even began to doubt whether his current actions were correct or not.
Benjamin!
Gritting his teeth, all of this was because of him.
He couldn't continue to be passive; he had to take the initiative.
Thinking about this, Dermot didn't bother with Evelyn and Greg anymore. He knew in his heart that Evelyn wasn't interested in Greg.
Of course, this didn't mean he completely trusted Greg since he was ambitious.
There had always been people he arranged to protect Evelyn, so Dermot would be the first to know about her movements.
In the restaurant, Evelyn was eating, but her thoughts had already drifted away.
Greg was helpless to see this. On the surface, he claimed not to care about Dermot, but in reality, he cared more than anyone else.
"Evelyn, you're so skilled. Who did you learn from?" He asked casually, mainly trying to divert Evelyn's thoughts from Dermot.
Evelyn snapped back to reality and said, "In the village, my grandfather hired a master for me."
"Oh? There's someone that skilled? What's his name?" Greg was genuinely curious.
The master he had back then was also quite formidable, but when it came to Evelyn, he couldn't defeat her. This made him extremely curious about Evelyn's master.
After all, there was already a disparity in strength between women and men. It wasn't something an ordinary person could achieve to make Evelyn, a woman, so powerful.
Evelyn thought for a moment and felt that Greg probably didn't have any ulterior motives, so she said, "Gary Melville."
With a loud clatter, Greg dropped his chopsticks to the floor, his eyes widening in disbelief. "Gary Melville?"
